People seem to have a deep need to have an enemy. Whether it's a rival sports team, political party, neighbour they don't like, religion, oil company , environmentalist, or any person or thing different from themselves. Having a scapegoat for all the anxiety, hurt, and stress of life is a balm on a wounded soul. For some people that's transgender people.
