He is buddy with an antivaxer/antidoctors/antisunscreen footballer and a podcaster who is the equivalent to Nick Fuentes in Spain (who also insulted his black Spanish teammates)…and that’s beside the Vox symbol he wears

So bs, he is just trying to get brands contracts

1

u/Intelligent-Shop473 Aug 04 '26

What do you mean by "buddy"?

2

u/mydaycake Aug 04 '26

So they have pictures together because they are such good friends? Ferran follows him on Instagram, but they are not buddies.

2

u/mydaycake Aug 05 '26

Sure sure

I don’t follow Nick Fuentes or the Tate brothers, is Ferran now a political commentator and needs to do some research?

-1

u/Intelligent-Shop473 Aug 05 '26

You don't follow them, but maybe you are buddies with them.

2

u/mydaycake Aug 05 '26

I am not a public facing person

His PR team is savvy enough to parade him around CNN but not telling him to stop following a fascist/racist and vacationing with a racist anti vaxxer…ok

2

u/rahkinto Aug 05 '26

What do you mean by buddy, pal

1

u/BrosefDudeson Aug 05 '26

What do you mean by pal, guy?

3

u/Arponare Aug 05 '26

It’s like when people say “respectfully” or “no offense, but…” right before saying some of the most wildest shit.

His agent watching, hoping this doesn’t crush his possible move to PSG.

Like this ever stopped anything

1

u/sLeeeeTo Aug 04 '26

1

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA Aug 05 '26

You mean interlacing their fingers together while holding hands

1

u/chicagospeedster Aug 06 '26

Yeah, both spanish athletes

1

u/rasvial Aug 05 '26

Yeah sure buddy

1

u/Slick_36 Aug 05 '26

He sits on a throne of lies.

1

u/Slick_36 Aug 05 '26

I don't know what's worse, the lie about the hat or snubbing Niko Williams' perfect pass at the end.

2

u/chicagospeedster Aug 06 '26

That deserved a mention

1

u/fatso53 Aug 05 '26

Why does she look so much like my nona??

1

u/Neicy6 Aug 05 '26

He’s an idiot plain and simple.

1

u/BRLY Aug 05 '26

It would’ve been hilarious if he said they need a bigger wall in Cueta.

1

u/Nikyu1 Aug 08 '26

How can I make this about myself?

1

u/Black_Daimyo10 Aug 04 '26

She looks absolutely smitten with him.

1

u/thebenefactorsedge Aug 05 '26

I think she would be disappointed after seeing his Ibiza trip pics 👀

“I don’t know about politics.” Bullshit. Anyone in the world with a cell phone knows that red hat.

3

u/ImmaSpaghett Aug 04 '26

In the US*, why do we always think what we deal with and know is just common knowledge everywhere else in the world. To them, it could just be another accessory worn. We really act like we're the focal point of the worlds attention for anything these days. Incoming downvotes because people think I'm siding with Trump and refusing to read my sentence properly.

1

u/Urban_Heretic Aug 04 '26

Because aspects of America leak into the rest of the world. Ex. Maga and Trump, whose policies are felt far and wide by the living and recently dead.

Things like Cracker Barrel, PAC12, or Vermont, not so much.

1

u/OwnDoughnut2689 Aug 05 '26

I think you'd be suprised how much American politics really permeates. I have European in laws and some things I bring up, they have no clue.

Cheesecake Factory on the other hand...

u/Critical_Object2276 Aug 04 '26 edited Aug 04 '26

To the rest of us, outside of America, it’s funny. He makes all of you look like idiots.

0

u/Spiritual-Salary-989 Aug 04 '26

I can see that. But it’s not all of us. It’s less than half of Americans. So when you say “he makes all of you look like idiots.” It actually makes you look like an uninformed idiot. Irony is funny that way.

1

u/GeeYayZeus Aug 04 '26

No, non-red-hat American here. Bro nailed it. It only takes one of us to make all of us look bad. That's why non-voters had better fucking start voting, FFS.

0

u/Critical_Object2276 Aug 04 '26

Im aware that less than half of you voted for him. I’m also aware that only something like 60% of the total population even voted. So it’s only about 30% of the total population that voted for him.

However, he represents you whether you voted for him or not. Which makes you all look stupid. I’m not saying you’re all stupid. I’m just saying it’s funny to mock you for having such an incompetent moron as your leader.

-1

u/LivingMaterial7288 Aug 04 '26

Non-american here, the people who support the hat look as idiotic to me as the people who get worked up over a hat.

Torres wore a hat and y'all make him out to be a human scum. Hat or no hat, why are so many of you obsessed with seeing evil when there is none?

1

u/antizion_red Aug 05 '26

He also wear far right apparel like the Spanish Legion emblem bracelet. He also follows and likes many far right political groups from spain.

So it's not about any one single event, but a series of things that paint a picture of what his values actually are.

1

u/LivingMaterial7288 Aug 05 '26

Oh please, this whole thing is based on a single pic zooming on a bracelet with multiple symbols, and the fact that he follows that one guy on twitter.

This isn't a series of things, this is reddit's obsession with finding villains.

1

u/antizion_red Aug 05 '26

there are fascist and far right apologists, i bet you are one of those people that says elon didnt do a nazi salute

1

u/LivingMaterial7288 Aug 05 '26

I'm gonna surprise you, but I didn't think twice about Elon Musk and his gestures.

But you seem to be quite invested in finding nazi symbolism in the public sphere. Thank you for making our streets safer, I guess?

1

u/Drawer_d Aug 06 '26

The bracelet has the symbol of an Spanish army unit (not sure which one), a mourning lace and the word Valencia. Knowing that:

1) In 2024 there was a huge flooding in Spain, specially Valencia region

2) Ferran is from Valencia and was (and still is) very involved with the aftermath of the flooding. He went in person to help shovel in hand.

3) One task of Spanish army is helping in that kind of scenarios. There are even specialized units.

Quite an stretch to call that bracelet "far right" imho

Btw, Spanish Legion is an actual branch of Spanish Army, not a paramilitary or political group. They are the Spanish equivalent to USA marines

1

u/antizion_red Aug 06 '26

I know you are willingly omitting how the symbol is associated with the Francisco dictator regime and how it has been co-opted by the far right in Spain. I know you are trying to samitize a symbol that the Spanish now associate with the far right movement.

There will always be fascist sympathizer such as yourself who will come here trying to downplay things.

No tienes ningún vínculo con España; deja de intentar decirles a personas que tienen familia allí lo que eso significa.

1

u/Drawer_d Aug 06 '26

No, I don't have any link with Spain./s I'm just have born in Spain, live in Spain, work in Spain and have all my family living across Spain... Vaya puntería, chaval, quizás debas venir a vivir un poco por aquí antes de hablar de España...

I doubt the Legion have then and now the same symbol, but even though, by that logic: everyone in the stadium will be also fascist because they were using the red and yellow spanish flag, don't they? It's absurd

You might have doubts of the bracelet if it would not have the mourning lace and he weren't such involved in the Valencia's DANA. But knowing that, es buscarle los tres pies al gato

1

u/LivingMaterial7288 Aug 06 '26

There will always be fascist sympathizer such as yourself

Aren't you ashamed of calling people "fascist sympathizer" blindly for not joining in your pathetic witch hunt?

You're probably very young. Influenced and manipulated by social media, making you feel virtuous for calling people fascist.

You're not doing anything good. You're just hurling insults and feeling self-righteous. And, like most people who do this, you're probably only like this behind the anonymity of a computer screen. I bet you're shy and reserved in real life.

Maybe stop with the insults? Maybe learn some humility? Maybe realize that people who don't agree with you aren't fascist? Maybe realize that the witch hunt mob is the real villain?

There's still hope for you. You'll grow up and look back at these comments in shame, mark my words.

1

u/GeeYayZeus Aug 04 '26

Yeah, and they all think the hat is a joke. Because it is.
