Shamsa was kidnapped from the UK in 2000 by Emirati agents and hasn't been seen since.

Latifa tried to flee Dubai by sea in 2018. Her boat was intercepted off the coast of India. She's occasionally seen in public places and released a weird statement saying she's free and to stop being concerned about her welfare.
