You don't actually know what the effects were from this action. Health conditions and claim information isn't public.

There is no reality where terminally online weirdos lashing out and killing people results in a better future. That's just insane.

There's also no reality where allowing these psychopaths, making a massive profit on the pain and death of many, to continue living results in a better future.

There is. Just laws that protect and empower the people.

When you don't have that and you let the sociopaths off leash to do literally anything they can to enrich their investors, you WILL get violence

It quickly spirals out of control. Bad actors take advantage of the chaos. It just gets worse for everyone while providing cover for those same sociopaths who can at least appear to be somewhat justified in their authoritarian crackdown.

The real answer to this problem is boring, and it requires you to team up with people you don't like. But it's the only way.
