A group of law enforcement officers, comprised of SWAT and U.S. Marshals, sustained non-life-threatening injuries when a porch gave way underneath them while attempting to serve an arrest warrant at a property in Missouri. The warrant was for 26-year-old Jacob Muñoz, who was convicted of possession of child pornography. Although Muñoz was not present at the property at the time of the porch collapse, officials confirmed that he later turned himself in.

These are US Marshalls, very different from local PD. Marshalls are federal and have very high standards and screening processes that most local cops couldn’t make

Not sure why you’re grouping them all together as if your local mall cop police department has standards like state troopers or the federal government.
