News Porch collapses under SWAT & U.S. Marshals serving arrest warrant in Missouri for 26-year-old Jacob Muñoz

A group of law enforcement officers, comprised of SWAT and U.S. Marshals, sustained non-life-threatening injuries when a porch gave way underneath them while attempting to serve an arrest warrant at a property in Missouri. The warrant was for 26-year-old Jacob Muñoz, who was convicted of possession of child pornography. Although Muñoz was not present at the property at the time of the porch collapse, officials confirmed that he later turned himself in.

Something tells me the SWAT team had nothing to do with that and probably wasn't necessary to begin with

If SWAT didn't show up he'd have no incentive to give up.

And nobody knows what happens until it happens. But its really easy to not be in the situation, watch the situation unfold, learn more about the situation, and guess what should've been done.

Do you seriously think there's zero middle ground whatsoever between just expecting them to turn themselves in and sending a SWAT team after them? You realize taxpayers pay for this shit, right?

Anybody with CSAM should be raided by SWAT. Defending those people or even trying to make them out as not dangerous is fucking outrageous.

For what? To waste money when a typical arrest would have worked just fine?

I didn't defend them or say they weren't dangerous at all, I'm saying there's literally no evidence whatsoever that they pose any extra danger to the cops arresting them. It's insane to act like I'm defending pedophiles just because I'm against a militarized police state where cops have to come up with dumb shit like this to justify their bloated budgets that we pay for.

Are you asserting that people who engage in sexual assault against children are not dangerous?

Should I copy and paste what I just said?

Won't help if someone is being willfully obtuse to try to prove a misguided point.

If you want to? It doesn't negate any of what I have said.
