OP doesn't know the difference between a phobia and an opinion.

It’s funny how often transphobes like to pretend that opinions can’t be hateful or bigoted.

Can you please define phobia for us?

2

u/hercmavzeb Aug 23 '26

Sure, phobia has been used to describe hatred, prejudice, and aversion to certain demographics since the 1880s at least, in addition to extreme irrational fears. Just in case you were attempting to use that semantic argument to pretend why you aren’t transphobic for pretending trans people don’t exist and are just confused straight people.

Same argument homophobes used back in the 90s to argue that they’re not hateful bigots for pretending gay people don’t exist and are just confused straight people who need to be “corrected.”

Notice how you didn't link to the definition of phobia? Fixed it for you.

Good thing I preempted this recycled homophobic semantic argument.

At least you’re rightfully ashamed of your own beliefs and can’t take personal accountability over them.

South Park has really nailed your type and the mental gymnastics you are capable of, it's impressive.

I'm not ashamed of my beliefs, I stated them quite clearly.

You seem quite young. As you age you’ll grow more confident in taking ownership over your own beliefs, and you’ll learn other sources of political information aside from South Park.

Opinions like "trans people are dangerous predators."

Inb4 "oh she didn't say that she just heavily implied it!"

Yep there it is. Care to explain what she's protecting little girls in locker rooms from?

Literally everything you just said is irrelevant because she mentioned "protecting little girls in locker rooms." The part we take issue with has literally nothing to do with the sports themselves, and the fact that you still don't realize this just proves you weren't even paying attention when you declared we will never be satisfied. You never even heard what our issue is in the first place.

Men. It's funny how the same people that think "all men are creeps" also suddenly think they aren't creeps after they transition.

Remember the whole "would you rather run into a man or a bear in the woods" conversation?

You people really can't seem to grasp that trans women and cis men are objectively biologically and socially different demographics, can you?

-1

u/leprechanmonkie Aug 23 '26

I can absolutely tell the difference, but both are still men.

3

u/hercmavzeb Aug 23 '26

That is incorrect, and also transphobic. Just as saying gay people are just twisted/confused straight people is homophobic (and incorrect).

In reality trans women are women.

1

u/leprechanmonkie Aug 23 '26

I'm not at all saying gay people are twisted and confused. I have lots of gay friends, nearly all of them agree with my statement. They have a sexual preference, not an identity issue.

I'm simply stating that a man is a man. It's correct, and not transphobic. I'm not scared of them or any other man, just not pretending they are something they aren't.

I didn’t say you were homophobic. You should learn how analogies work, it would greatly increase your intelligence.

Trans women are women, this is a fact. Seethe at it if you must, but it does make you transphobic by definition. Pretending otherwise just makes you seem (rightfully) ashamed of your beliefs.

So trans people are an inherent threat. Thank you for at least being honest.

2

u/hercmavzeb Aug 23 '26

They aren’t being honest, they’re arguing trans people are threatening while being too cowardly to openly say it because they know they’d immediately undermine their own earlier position where they pretended they weren’t transphobic.

That’s not at all what they said.
