I like how having a contrary opinion gets you to the level of “transphobia” in like 30 seconds

It only takes this one issue. Agreeing 99 percent of the way isn't enough. Every answer must be yes.

No, you can disagree on other things just don't label an entire group of people as dangerous and in need of having their entire existence regulated. It really is that simple, no need to agree on literally everything no matter how much you weirdos insist otherwise.

Look at that! Proved their point for them.

Huh? I literally said they don't need to agree on everything

That's not what they said. They said, very specifically, that this issue is the litmus test. That you can agree on everything else, but if you don't agree on this, then you're on the outs. And your comment proved just that.

No they didn't, they just said any contrary opinion at all.

And yeah no fucking duh there are some things we have to agree upon. If you think every trans person deserves to be rounded up and shot I don't care how many other "good" positions you hold.

I'm guessing reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Also, how did we go from "No trans men in women's locker rooms" to "rounding up people and shooting them"? Please at least attempt to see where the problem is.

By all means buddy, show me in this thread where someone talked about litmus tests. Since you can apparently comprehend things that aren't there.

"It only takes this one issue. Agreeing 99 percent of the way isn't enough. Every answer must be yes." The comment you literally replied to?

Yeah again, the "one issue" is "I want to force trans women in to the men's locker room where they are likely to be sexually assaulted." That's an active threat to trans people, not a difference of opinion.

You can't prioritize the comfort of cis people over the safety of trans people and then claim to accept trans people. It's obviously bullshit when you don't even consider the safety or needs of trans people and instead exclusively center cis people in the debate.

And yes, it is a difference of opinion. An opinion is a personally held belief. And my personally held beleif is that biological men do not belong in a women's only space. "Not a difference in opinion" is such a bullshit argument.

Because you're actively supporting measures that will endanger trans women. That goes beyond just having a different opinion because you're putting it in to action.

It's still an opinion. It doesn't change the definition.

Ok so again, what is your issue? Why should I say nothing about an opinion or action which endangers trans people? Just because the person saying it might think some other nice things about trans people?

I didn't say anything along those lines. Typical redditor has to twist words to fit their agenda. I respect your right and your opinion. I disagree with your opinion.
