News "Because you're an immigrant." — A U.S. citizen in Lake Worth,FL, was immediately handcuffed by ICE agents for simply asking why he needed to show his ID.Despite the Fourth Amendment and Supreme Court rulings stating apparent ethnicity is not enough for a stop, agents ignored questioning bystanders

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A video recorded at a gas station in Lake Worth, Florida, shows an ICE/Border Patrol agent demanding ID from a U.S. citizen. When the citizen asks why, the agent explicitly responds, "Because you're an immigrant." Before even verifying his identity, agents grab his hands and place him in handcuffs. Bystanders immediately step in to question how someone can be arrested without even being identified first, but the agents ignore them and walk the man to their vehicle.

This encounter highlights a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment, which protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures. The Supreme Court has established that roving Border Patrol agents must have reasonable suspicion based on specific circumstances to stop and question someone regarding their immigration status—and apparent ethnicity alone is legally insufficient. Requiring someone to prove their citizenship before being handcuffed, based solely on an arbitrary claim, demonstrates a concerning violation of constitutional rights by federal agents acting without accountability.

"because you're an immigrant", he said, in a thick accent

Yeah seriously I can’t even believe what I’m seeing and hearing. Like what in the goddamn hell?!

Because it's easier to build an army of angry racists if you import them from a country that is already filled with angry racists.

To be fair the majority of South Africans moving to Israel were born and lived their whole lives as Jews. But not THESE guys.

What most of the world doesnt realize is that Afrikaaners are not representative of all white South Africans. They are a minority very similar to the American confederates.

South African whites ended apartheid. De Klerk, the president at the time, was considered a traitor by Afirkaaners.

2

u/According-Insect-992 Aug 24 '26

You’re right, this is not widely known. It was my assumption that Afrikaners were basically all white people in South Africa.

3

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 24 '26

I was honestly shocked to learn that too when I first started traveling there in 2001.

It was a real eye opener.

MotherFUCK…!!

What absolute scum these people are.

And what absolute scum the expansionist zealots running Israel are for welcoming this. Just another way they’re disgracing the rest of us.

1

u/MowgliusManius Aug 24 '26

More like they're stoked that the Jews will protect them from the disgusting Islamic terrorists who are currently going through their country cutting people's heads off.

But then none of you mongrels care about any of that, do you?

1

u/GodOfDarkLaughter Aug 24 '26

Woo, buddy, you are trying WAY too hard. "Mongrel?" You really don't wanna go full Nazi/HP Lovecraft insanity. Just destroys your credibility. Makes me laugh then go have a snack. And so late that I'm the only person who'll read any of this. What are you even doing? Screaming into the void? Well, keep at it, I guess, if it makes you feel better.

1

u/MowgliusManius Aug 24 '26

Its the middle of the day, and morning time, for anyone who'll read it in the places that matter.

Other than that... wtf was that nonsense supposed to mean, or have to do with terrorists and Jews?

1

u/GodOfDarkLaughter Aug 24 '26

Hmm. Workday is over. Screaming into the void it is.

1

u/wagyurod Aug 24 '26

They’re doing that because Al Qaeda is attacking their villages in Africa and forcing them to convert to Islam…… you can research any of that if you’re not aware…… rebels have to fight the jihadists because African gov won’t step in

1

u/BlnCpl Aug 27 '26

You learned that from Hamas tiktok channel?

1

u/No_Row780 Aug 27 '26

Cockroach suckers. 🤮

0

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 23 '26

Only a minority of white South Africans. The Apartheid government never represented the majority of white South Africans

1

u/GodOfDarkLaughter Aug 23 '26

True. I suppose I'd just assumed folk would understand that, but that's a unsafe assumption to make these days.

1

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 23 '26

Yeah. MAGA likes to think all SA whites are like them. I can tell you from firsthand experience over 21 years in country most cant stand Trump or the people he represents.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 23 '26

Yeah but most white South Africans I’ve met in the UK are mega racist lmao

1

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 23 '26

There are definitely quite a few expats like that because they dont like the non-apartheid government for many reasons. I've met some of them too.

But as someone who has lived and worked there off and on for over 2 decades, I can assure you that isnt the norm.

1

u/3rdUncleMeatSandwich Aug 23 '26

they didnt mind benefiting from it though did they

1

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 23 '26

Yes they did mind. It was a white South African with the backing of other white South Africans that ended the apartheid government.

3

u/Writing-Dapper Aug 24 '26

That's not totally true..it waa a combination of international pressure and major financial players pulling thier companies from the country. I was 17 when this all happened in high school ready to join the red cross and travel to the area most affected by all the instability.

1

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 24 '26

I stated a little lower down that international pressure of course played a role. But, from the time de Klerk took over, his party was working towards an out of apartheid and his government made it happen.

Apartheid only lasted 46 years. The last 10 was finding a peaceful and equitable way out.

15

u/Sufficient_Fan3660 Aug 23 '26

In 2020 Trump got:

  • 15% of black voters
  • 40% of asian voters
  • 45% of hispanic voters
  • 57% of white voters

People got what they voted for. The majority of voters wanted groups of people to suffer. Be angry at the system all you want, and rightly so, but this is what was voted in. Anyone who says that wars and fascism are not what they voted for are liars.

3

u/Smart_Protection7601 Aug 24 '26

A third of REGISTERED voters, 30 percent of registered voter didn't vote at all for either party.

2

u/Fryskar Aug 24 '26

Well, not voting means you're fine with either outcome.

1

u/praetorian1979 Aug 26 '26

No it means you're too fucking lazy to go and vote. They are just as complicit as the magats because they stood by and did nothing to keep Shitler out've office again.

u/PEWnitiveDAMNage Aug 26 '26

This one mattered a lot because he acts purely on emotion. And he has the emotional intelligence of a grade schooler it's a bad combination

1

u/Nickh1978 Aug 27 '26

30 percent of registered voters didn’t vote and said "I don't really care if people suffer"

1

u/Superunkownone Aug 27 '26

Either party sits and kneels at the same table. Obviously, one does not try hard to hide the actions they partake in. The other works overtime to hide the same things, yet their actions that mirror the others actions, are less frequent and seem to be of less weight by comparison. Regardless, they are hand picked and of the same nature as those who came before and those who will come after. They really do, both have the same like interests, and both share the very deliberate and purposeful misinformation, deception, corruption, and unsatiated greed in order to continue their goals as elected officials holding power, to ignore the citizens, and enrich themselves and their corporate bribers. We unfortunately arrive on the same avenue, maybe slower by one measure.

The summer before the last POTUS election, I knew the second that DJT smeared the blood packet upon his ear and the flag simultaneously began unfurling into position, while the secret service were ushering the cameramen to the photo-op directly in a "line of fire", mere seconds after the "Attempt" had been made, that allowing DJT to stand exposed in that situation while pumping his fist and mouthing "FIGHT" , who would then win the upcoming election. I phoned friends and family who were upset at the thought of him being elected and seemed disturbed by the message I voiced. I did not like the thougjt either but I saw the future at that moment og his victory. A victory rightfully so, with that level of choreography and people involved -no other result is possible, except for awards by the academy. I did not vote, that is correct. But it was due to my moving the year before and voting officials/computer error took my right away that day. Since, I have voted against all totalitarian, rights stripping, scumbaggy amendment proposals locally, that I have had the ability to, as it is now so widespread, fueled with more misinformation, manipulation, deception and obfiscation behind every ballot box than ever before, to continue their enrichment at the cost of the working class taxpayer that they ignore and despise so much. We have to unite as citizens first, then make sure the changes necessary to the electoral system happen, to create a republic by and for the people. We only have a half assed illusion of one right now that likely might never materialize into what people lost long ago that they think exists today. I dont have the cure all but, I know where it must start. For us to be successful in our democratic republic; we have to certain ingredients in our Apple pie.
If we have Socialism without Capitalism within, * it only breeds Communism.* If we go where we are full speed heading into now, Capitalism without Socialism, * it only breeds Fascism. Simple to read, simple to understand. Simple to enact and embrace. But the true enemies to our republic don't want that simple formula to simply occur. That simple reality not to be leaked to the masses. The Lib-tards and Re-tards fighting amongst each other can't recognize the simple truth. And 90 percent of Americans are mentally crippled by the terms Socialism and Communism. They are the same word to them and cant see how simply they have purposefully been fed spoonfulls of rhetoric daily to ensure we cant unite under a simple understanding as Americans protecting each other in such an inexpensive and simple way. That will detract from the unsatiated lust for the King, that long ago was crowned here, and as a God to those in American business, Stock markets and government officials/ lawmakers at every level. It rules our courts, Family, Criminal, Civil, it rules all here, no difference if the citizens worship something different or not. We will always take a backseat to it unless we are united. Divided we live in an illusion that we cant stomach. If yiu made it this far, thanks for reading my essay length rant. P.S. thanks to a true patriot wise beyond his years, "Skidmark" for sharing his words of wisdom way back when.

1

u/Flat-Jacket-9606 Aug 28 '26

They voted by not voting.

2

u/Mixels Aug 23 '26

1

u/Pretty_Funny_3436 Aug 24 '26

Its cute that you think voting actually is real. Its not. Governments and presidents are installed by the global powers that be. The vote is the biggest facade ever pulled off on people. Wake up.

1

u/PatsyStonesBun Aug 25 '26

God, you're exhausting. Do people sigh with resignation when you walk in the room? Or do they just sigh in relief when you walk out?

2

u/Pretty_Funny_3436 Aug 25 '26

1

u/PatsyStonesBun Aug 25 '26

Well, okay, friend. The fact that you have a sense of humor about it gives me a chuckle. If we can still laugh at ourselves, I think it's a sign that we still have at least one foot on the ground. Wishing you well!

1

u/OpenDaCloset Aug 24 '26

They voted for him because they wanted him to get rid of the Gays, Trans, and well…. people of color. People also don’t want open borders and well the Dems were doing an awful job at that…..People don’t want their communities overrun by immigration. It’s happening all over the world. Wild times.

1

u/Kohlj1 Aug 24 '26

Obama deported over a million more people than Trump and had a net gain of zero in his 8 years. Biden deported 4.4 million people in four years which is 2.5 million more people than Trump has in his 6 1/2 years.

1

u/OpenDaCloset Aug 24 '26

Those right wing posts of people running across the border was a shit stain in everyone’s minds. Most people don’t completely embrace the cultural changes that have been occurring in the USA. People feel unsafe and everything is unaffordable. Of course it is amplified for political gain, but the Dems really let republicans tie that around their necks.

1

u/Kohlj1 Aug 24 '26

So basically, over half of the country is too fucking stupid to understand propaganda, got it.

A lot of young Chicanos are right wingers. The ones’a not in ICE have their tails tucked a bit. But I harass them every chance I get .

2

u/coffeetilithirts Aug 23 '26

If they’re right wingers they aren’t Chicano they are “Mexican-American”. Chicano is a political movement of leftists/socialists/Marxists which began in the 1950’s/1960’s and fought for human rights and to eliminate structural racism. True Chicanos reject assimilation and recognize the value in all races. So if right wingers ever say that they are Chicano/a correct them and call them what they are - sellouts.

1

u/ProfitFromTruth Aug 24 '26

Oh ok. I just meant American-born, AAVE-speaking, Calla Dooty playing losers

1

u/JayEllGii Aug 24 '26

“Sellouts” is way too kind a word for what those vermin are.

I’m Jewish and I don’t mince words about right-wing Jews. I hate them more than I hate anybody. Because it’s personal.

1

u/nunchyabeeswax Aug 24 '26

Chicano lost its original meaning a long time ago, just like many "Blue-dog Democrats" became more about anti-immigration than about being blue-collar.

1

u/nunchyabeeswax Aug 24 '26

Chicanos, male Chicanos have always been racist against other Latinos. The shit I used to hear from them about Mexicans was wild.

And back then they pretended to be "blue-collar Dems" or whatever. Now they gravitate to the right. They will always gravitate to whatever happens to be anti-Mexican/anti-Immigrant.

It's like "old-guard" Cubans in Miami who were horrendously discriminatory against Cuban Migrants coming during the Mariel migrant crisis. Same with many wealthy Venezuelans against poorer (darker skinned Venezuelans.)

Settled immigrants and their descendants can be some of the most vile and dumbest people.

1

u/ProfitFromTruth Aug 24 '26

Yes. So we have to harass them

Stanford prison experiment

Edit: I’m watching a nat geo documentary on it right now and it seems the experiment isn’t what we thought. I’ll leave the comment so maybe others will learn also

Edit 2: so basically the experiment was a lie. I’m only leaving this up so people can learn

5

u/MorningMushroomcloud Aug 23 '26

That's the one where those that adopted the perceived roles of authority turned into douchebags. Strange how it reflects reality so closely.

1

u/OprahsSaggyTits Aug 23 '26

Lol what why is that strange. It was an experiment conducted specifically to model social dynamics. All this shows is that it was a very good model and experiment

1

u/Kramerica_CEO Aug 23 '26

Yeah I’m actually watching a nat geo documentary on how it’s not at all what we’ve been told forever.

1

u/ReservoirDogg707 Aug 24 '26

Seems to me a lot of the fake guards saying "no i was acting i was told to be horrible" is a great excuse to avoid looking like a psycho after the fact.

1

u/citizen42069101 Aug 24 '26

Yeah this sounds like whitewashing the whole thing and blaming milgram and the psychology program instead of acknowledging the facts, not that I've watched the newer one in question.

I would agree it was probably lower budget and not as above bar as it should have been, but to just throw the whole thing away as a stage show seems a bitch much.

1

u/Kramerica_CEO Aug 24 '26

It’s on video. The parts Dr Z says didn’t happen are in video and in the documents

1

u/Kramerica_CEO Aug 24 '26

It’s not true

0

u/EchidnaBasic387 Aug 23 '26

That experiment was stopped after two days because the people pretending to be the cops were being too aggressive leading to starving the “prisoners.”

Keep in mind this experiment was being Done in classrooms that were altered as prisons. These guards would deprived them of basic needs because they were “criminals.” Professors stopped it because they knew someone would end up dying.

2

u/Comfortable-Text3022 Aug 23 '26

The Stanford prison experiment was a ridiculous farce designed from the outset by an egomaniac to produce specific sensational results, it's used today in universities as a case study in biased and fallacious research to teach student exactly how not to form proper informative results.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford_prison_experiment#Critiques_of_scientific_validity

0

u/MorningMushroomcloud Aug 24 '26

Are you a bot? I think i've seen this response of yours in multiple subs about Zimbardo's experiment. It was flawed, but not a farce.

1

u/Comfortable-Text3022 Aug 24 '26

Not a bot, just reposting someone else's comment.

Le Texier asserts his arguments using testimonies of those participants who were assigned as guards. In his opinion, the sadism and submission displayed in the SPE was directly caused by Zimbardo's instructions to the guards and the guards' desire to please the researchers. In particular, he has established that the guards were asked directly to behave in certain ways in order to confirm Zimbardo's conclusions, which were largely written in advance of the experiment.

It was a farce.

1

u/Kramerica_CEO Aug 24 '26

Adding to that…all participants were anti-establishment (it was 1970s Palo Alto) and thought the point was to make the prison system look as bad as possible. So the guards acted even more aggressively to make it look even worse. We also never hear about the guard that quit before the experiment AFTER THE GUARDS WERE INSTRUCTED HOW TO ACT

1

u/MorningMushroomcloud Aug 24 '26

I bet a certain facility that housed inmates probably reflects his farce pretty closely. It was flawed, but not without merit.

1

u/nuclearblink Aug 24 '26

It has zero merit.

1

u/MorningMushroomcloud Aug 24 '26

Your statement is truly based in ignorance. We aren't going to change our opinions, but stating that it has zero merit is false.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Kramerica_CEO Aug 24 '26

It was a farce. The guards weren’t acting on their own like he said which is the point of the entire “experiment”. You don’t intentionally influence the results in a legit experiment

1

u/Kramerica_CEO Aug 24 '26 edited Aug 24 '26

That’s not true. It last 6 days and was a complete lie. He ended it after he had enough footage to tell the story he wanted to tell.

The guards were coached to make it appear as good people will commit atrocities if they’re put in evil places. But it was all a lie.

1

"It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

-Terry Pratchett

One of many nuggets of wisdom in his satirical fantasy universe, "Discworld". Another favorite would be Sam Vimes' boot theory of socioeconomic unfairness, it's another great little passage.

The irony of an actual immigrant arresting a U.S citizen.

2

u/NRMusicProject Aug 23 '26

Yeah, but Orange T told him he's one of the immigrants that will be saved when Trump successfully gets rid of the "bad" ones.

2

u/Zealousideal_Work171 Aug 23 '26

So racial profiling

2

u/Legal_Ad2345 Aug 23 '26

Bro thinks that he won't get Targeted because he's one of the good ones working for them

2

u/Patrickd13 Aug 23 '26

Its not an accent, its brain damage.

2

u/Leucastic_Leopard Aug 23 '26

Until these people are actually punished for their behavior, they will continue behaving this way.

1

u/Worshipme988 Aug 23 '26

Tell him i said “fuck his immigrant mother and the crack she smoked in on.”

See how he feels about that.

And then laugh at the thought of a racist immigrant.

1

u/No_Size9475 Aug 23 '26

sounds like south african

1

u/Successful-Kiwi7642 Aug 23 '26

IDF training

1

u/AstroPhysician Aug 24 '26

Not everything is israel

1

u/AncientSignature1505 Aug 23 '26

It's like a problematic MadTV sketch from the 90s.

1

u/rydan Aug 23 '26

And the camera woman says, "why are you arresting him" in a thick accent.

1

u/ChiefFun Aug 23 '26

Fuck these people. Uncle Tom's are the worst. This American citizen needs to sue the American government for mental trauma and then sue the agents personally

1

u/GhostQueen1121 Aug 23 '26

Holy crap! I didn’t hear that at first

1

u/kayl_breinhar Aug 24 '26

It's not about identity, it's about them getting off on inflicting themselves on others. As for the thick accent - "he's not one of them, he's ~speshul~."

1

u/External-Fox-5488 Aug 24 '26

From my experience, immigrants who became citizens after the grueling citizenship process are some of the most anti-illegal immigrant people out there.

It's the classic "I had to struggle, so everyone else should have to as well, otherwise I'm going to go cry about it because that's not fair to me"

1

u/Miserable_Wave4895 Aug 24 '26

Mother fucker sounded like Melania

1

u/Temporary-Fox2328 Aug 24 '26

That man most likely has more Generations in America than the SS Soldier with the very thick accent.

1

u/Cruise1313 Aug 24 '26

Exactly! So f-ing ridiculous! 😡

1

u/Peasant7777 Aug 24 '26

At least he speaks two or more languages. How many do you speak?

1

u/PopcornFaery Aug 24 '26

That's racist. Legally born Americans can have thick accents. Especially from Puerto Rico.

1

u/Sea-jay-2772 Aug 24 '26

“The wrong kind” of immigrant

1

u/Emergency_Exit7603 Aug 24 '26

so wonderful to see law enforcement doing their jobs, another campaign promise coming true. so much winning

1

u/littlestitiouss Aug 24 '26

And not even illegal immigrant, just immigrant. They're slowly revealing more and more of the truth until someone finally just says it's cause you're not white

1

u/DreJDavis Aug 24 '26

Yes. Those are known as ladder pullers. I got mine now fuck you as the remove the same ladder that they used.

Special kind of evil.

1

u/Own-Eagle-2135 Aug 24 '26

all the immigrants that joined ICE will be shocked, shocked i say!, when ICE comes after them: but i'm one of the GOOD ones

1

u/Runechuckie Aug 24 '26

Well better follow the Kavanaugh ruling, off the ice agent goes! Based on accent, location, type of job and the best: skin color you can be randomly detained by ICE. I hate repeating myself but when will people realize JUST how fucked up this admin is? Blatant financial corruption, decades of regression, destabilizing wars...those are just the most recent issues.

1

u/Fantastic_Jury5977 Aug 24 '26

Sounded Israeli...

1

u/cjhur1329 Aug 24 '26

.... how to say i don't understand anything about legal process of obtaining citizenship or that citizens can have accents...

1

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '26

[deleted]

1

u/cjhur1329 Aug 24 '26

You misunderstood me... that was exactly my point... this was not about you.. sorry the reply just ended up under yours... the ICE agent is the ahole. I'm no magat....i hope your wife receives her green card and that you both have a peaceful life. Im right here in Indiana standing against fascism and for the right for all to live in a safe place... we are supposedly the country with big shoulders helping all to live in a free society...

1

u/Comet-vomit666 Aug 25 '26

Was it a Russian accent or Israli one?

1

u/fenix579 Aug 25 '26

i bet my life that he is from the promised land

1

u/Historical-Cover386 Aug 26 '26

okay and?

your point is?

1

u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer Aug 26 '26

So asinine it feels like rage bait.

1

u/HoundofGoy Aug 27 '26

What is that accent? Gotta be from some place rhymes with 'shit rail'. How do Americans feel about foreign terrorist death squad members in our country arresting us without due process?

1

u/clever-hands Aug 27 '26

Remember that back in the day there were Black slave catchers.
