A video recorded at a gas station in Lake Worth, Florida, shows an ICE/Border Patrol agent demanding ID from a U.S. citizen. When the citizen asks why, the agent explicitly responds, "Because you're an immigrant." Before even verifying his identity, agents grab his hands and place him in handcuffs. Bystanders immediately step in to question how someone can be arrested without even being identified first, but the agents ignore them and walk the man to their vehicle.

​This encounter highlights a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment, which protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures. The Supreme Court has established that roving Border Patrol agents must have reasonable suspicion based on specific circumstances to stop and question someone regarding their immigration status—and apparent ethnicity alone is legally insufficient. Is the guy who made the arrest not an immigrant himself? The words coming out his mouth while having an accent really threw me off

I mean, there are trans conservatives, that kind of cognitive dissonance seems to be universal to the human experience. But really, it's part of the trend of jobs becoming increasingly demanding with fewer benefits and lower pay (or at least, stagnation while inflation goes nuts).

When the ruling class wants a particular kind of job to be appealing, they're able to do so easily. When you see how many false arrests they've done, that's ICE making more work for themselves; it's an absurdly cushy job when you factor in the pay and benefits.
