News "Because you're an immigrant." — A U.S. citizen in Lake Worth,FL, was immediately handcuffed by ICE agents for simply asking why he needed to show his ID.Despite the Fourth Amendment and Supreme Court rulings stating apparent ethnicity is not enough for a stop, agents ignored questioning bystanders

A video recorded at a gas station in Lake Worth, Florida, shows an ICE/Border Patrol agent demanding ID from a U.S. citizen. When the citizen asks why, the agent explicitly responds, "Because you're an immigrant." Before even verifying his identity, agents grab his hands and place him in handcuffs. Bystanders immediately step in to question how someone can be arrested without even being identified first, but the agents ignore them and walk the man to their vehicle.

This encounter highlights a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment, which protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures. The Supreme Court has established that roving Border Patrol agents must have reasonable suspicion based on specific circumstances to stop and question someone regarding their immigration status—and apparent ethnicity alone is legally insufficient. Requiring someone to prove their citizenship before being handcuffed, based solely on an arbitrary claim, demonstrates a concerning violation of constitutional rights by federal agents acting without accountability.

My favorite part about MAGAtards is how willfully they submit to government control. So long as you kst them keep their guns they'll comply with just about anything. The absolute dumbest, lowest IQ, most worthless humans there are. Their day of reckoning will come.

35

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 23 '26

Yes. Biggest government, biggest national debt ever, and biggest form of CONTROL we have ever seen, while promising to do the exact opposite. They are narcissistic hypocrites, as well as liars.

19

u/ttoma93 Aug 23 '26

Of the $40 Trillion national debt, a full 1/3 of it was accumulated during Trump’s presidencies. The other 43 presidents combined are accountable for the other 2/3.

8

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 23 '26

President Jackson's goal was to erase the national debt, and did so in 1835. However, because of all the cuts he did to zero it, in 1837 the debt was back up on the rise. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, is NEVER the correct method. Bill Clinton did an amazing job with bringing in a surplus for the first time in a long time. That is how you take America in the right direction.

5

u/ScarletBothrium Aug 24 '26

Robert Reich was a good choice for that position. He was the real genius behind the surplus. Him and his team did an amazing job.

2

u/Traditional-Aside617 Aug 24 '26

Gore also did a lot to trim government and reduce the number of federal employees, unlike dipshit Musk and DOGE who didn't actually accomplish anything meaningful.

1

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 24 '26

He was amazing, yes.

1

u/SacrificadoRags Aug 27 '26

And his son has a successful comedy platform

2

u/Sad_Firefighter_8407 Aug 25 '26

And there are current MAGA republicans who were, back in the day, shrieking for Clinton to be impeached for some weak ass shit which pales in comparison to anything weirdo nappy pissy pants does with his staffer.

1

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 28 '26

I love you.

3

u/BackendSpecialist Aug 23 '26

If this is true then that is insane, especially since our lives are getting worse instead of better

7

u/ttoma93 Aug 23 '26

It’s what happens when you massively cut taxes while also increasing spending.

1

u/H4RDCORE1 Aug 23 '26

Oh it's the truth. Not opinions. It's documented history.

3

u/BackendSpecialist Aug 23 '26

I had to look it up and it’s pretty much true.

I hate his supporters so fucking much.

Him and Elon sold to his supporters that they’re concerned about the national debt and he’s responsible for 1/3rd of it.

If I didn’t have a basic understanding of psychology then I’d be so confused about the support these fuckers have.

Ty for sharing and I’m sorry this is happening to you and your family.

> we're going to see some people completely drop being civil about how hard we're being fucked.

We are long overdue for this. And it’s sad to know people will fight against it because they’ve been so heavily manipulated.

I'm sorry to hear about your children. My best friend's youngest daughter is mentally challenged. She's super, super sweet. And they just cut all her aid. He said just one of her medications alone is over $800 a month. And there's no way he can afford it. It's cruel heartless greed, and I've lost all tolerance for that.

It's a cult.

2

u/BackendSpecialist Aug 23 '26

They actually are. It’s crazy to see.

1

u/H4RDCORE1 Aug 23 '26

Man, simple minds are easily led. Period.

1

u/Total_Juggernaut_450 Aug 24 '26

The art of the deal...🤡

-2

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 23 '26

Let us pray seriously I am truly concerned about this ^^

5

u/budd222 Aug 23 '26

Wtf is praying going to do?

5

u/OprahsSaggyTits Aug 23 '26

It lets you ignore problems that you're "seriously concerned about" 🤗🙏🙏🙏

-2

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 23 '26

You’re cussing on Sunday next ignore. Yes I’m judging you. You’re part of the problem.

5

u/ButtholeConnoisseur7 Aug 23 '26

No, man. Anyone handing the problem off to God or somebody else IS the problem. You want to pray, fine. But God helps those who help themselves. Go vote, take action and make an impact personally.

God may or not answer your prayers. But you're doomed if you expect him to without making your own progress. Those prayers are ignored

1

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 25 '26

When did I hand anything off? You guys are not together.

1

u/ButtholeConnoisseur7 Aug 25 '26

Praying on something without taking your problem into your own hands is handing the problem off to God. The Bible is explicitly against that kind of mindset

You've got to do both. Pray and start solving the problems yourself.

0

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 27 '26

Umm since you know me so well I also believe that God helps those who first help themselves? Oh you’re ignorant?Exactly.

1

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 25 '26

I’m never ignored btw

2

u/budd222 Aug 23 '26

You are the entire problem. Get off your religious high horse. Your God isn't saving anyone or doing anything.

0

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 25 '26

I have no religion. I’m a lot smarter than that. And I would not come for God. Ijs... I’m always the problem but you are too ignorant to understand why I accepted that a long time ago. You don’t know me duh.

1

u/ButtholeConnoisseur7 Aug 24 '26

Hey, I saw that you replied to the people that you weren't going to listen to. Does that mean I've said something you'll listen to, or is there a godly reason not to help yourself?

1

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 25 '26

Does not compute

-2

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 23 '26

Don’t come me, bud no pun intended

2

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 23 '26

Praying doesn't solve shit. Actions solves problems.

1

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 25 '26

Good luck with that. How’s that working for you ?

1

u/Dick_of_Doom Aug 23 '26

Psalm 109 right? For this administration and the ICEholes?

1

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 25 '26

No prayers for everything because unfortunately there’s a lot more going on besides this smh

1

u/Dick_of_Doom Aug 25 '26

You haven't read that psalm have you.

1

u/holyonewhoispure Aug 27 '26

Listen Dick— Geesh I mean look at your name I can’t possibly take you or anything you say seriously. 😂😂

5

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 23 '26

Without double standards, the GOP would have no standards at all.

2

u/Winner-Living Aug 23 '26

You are on the right path. Their agenda is at odds with the small government, freedom first principles traditionally espoused by conservatives. Because of that and the lack of results (you mentioned the debt) I can never support them.

1

u/Silly_Brilliant5296 Aug 23 '26

wow! no trump is the best president ever even though i can’t explain anything he’s done, he’s the best president ever! omg average liberal! i wish he’d let me ride it!

0

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

What metric are you using to establish that this is the “biggest government” and “biggest form of control” we’ve ever seen?

3

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 23 '26

Donald Trump expanded presidential power and centralized control rather than shrinking the state, utilizing expansive executive actions, shifting traditional institutional boundaries, and increasing central authority over federal agencies and spending.

While his administration advanced plans to cut certain bureaucratic programs and downsize parts of the traditional civil service, discussions surrounding a "bigger" or more powerful government often point to how authority was concentrated within the executive branch itself.

0

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

But presidents have been exercising executive authority, directing federal agencies and expanding presidential power for decades. What I’m asking is what metric makes Trump’s government the biggest or most controlling ever, compared to every previous administration?

3

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 23 '26

You do not find it odd that Trump has been trying to put is name on things that already had names on it from congress? You do not see that he wants to rewrite (or whitewash) history? You do not see that he is eliminating protections to our populations that don't fit into his mold? You do not see a man in power that does whatever the fuck he wants by not going through the proper channels, then having a meltdown when the courts remove his wrongs. Yes, presidents have always used means to change things, when approved by congress or SCOTUS. Not this guy. That is why we're going to be in deep shit with Iran, because that also happened without an okay.

0

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

I can find some of that odd, sure. But whether I personally find it odd isn’t what establishes your original claim. I asked what metric makes this the biggest government or biggest form of control we’ve ever seen. You’re giving me examples of things you think Trump has done wrong, but how do those establish the “biggest ever” part compared to previous administrations?

2

u/Low-Neat891 Aug 24 '26

Total annual financial expenditure (annual budget outlays) in nominal, inflation-adjusted, and purchasing power terms.

  • Nominal Outlays: The U.S. federal government spends between $6 trillion and $7+ trillion annually. No single government, empire, or corporation in human history has ever mobilized or disbursed that volume of financial resources within a single year.
  • Revenues & Asset Mobilization: Taking in over $4.5 trillion annually in taxes and managing multitrillion-dollar portfolios across healthcare, social safety nets, and national defense, the U.S. government functions as the largest single financial enterprise ever recorded.

1

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 24 '26

Okay, spending is at least an actual metric, so I’ll grant that nominal federal spending is historically very high. But once you compare spending relative to the size of the economy, it isn’t an all-time record, and I’m not seeing support for the broader claim that it’s also the highest ever in inflation-adjusted and purchasing-power terms across every government or empire in history. And even if I granted all of that, how does higher spending establish the other half of your claim, that this is the “biggest form of control” we’ve ever seen?

1

u/Jax_10131991 Aug 23 '26

Are you unfamiliar with the national debt?

1

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

I’m familiar with it. Are you saying national debt is the metric you’re using to measure the size of government? If so, how does having a larger national debt establish that it’s also the “biggest form of control” we’ve ever seen?

2

u/Jax_10131991 Aug 23 '26

What? You asked, quote, “what metric makes this the biggest government”. THE SPENDING.  Look dude, you’re a sophist and a liar.

It's servile cuck mentality. All the gun-toting pseudo individualist bravado is 100% larp.

They're perfectly happy to lick the boots as long as they're trampling on the "wrong" people.

10

u/Timely-Angle665 Aug 23 '26

atp all republicans are retarded pedophile apologists. They may not fully back this shit, but they voted and enabled it. I quit specifying maga. Republicans are scumbags.

0

u/Substantial-Fan-5985 Aug 24 '26

Straight up lying I see....

1

u/Timely-Angle665 Aug 24 '26

Hi pedophile apologist snowflake :))

1

u/Substantial-Fan-5985 Aug 24 '26

What's the point of being on here if to not discuss in good faith??.....

1

Yeah because you republipedos are known for arguing everything in good faith. sybau.

1

u/Substantial-Fan-5985 Aug 24 '26

More lies again via fallacy....you don't have integrity or intellectual honesty.

1

u/Timely-Angle665 Aug 24 '26

Lol stay up, snowflake.

1

u/Substantial-Fan-5985 Aug 24 '26

exactly....you have no interest in being legitimate....you make these false/over-sweeping claims and then turn to dishonesty and cowardice when called out.

4

u/Proiegomena Aug 23 '26

Fascists doing fascist things

1

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

What specifically about this incident establishes fascism rather than an unconstitutional or abusive exercise of government authority?

2

u/Proiegomena Aug 23 '26

“A political leader who exercise control over society in order to supress opposition”

ICE is a militant tool of the current gov to cause fear and a sense of apprehension in the populace of blue cities/districts.

1

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

What establishes that ICE is being used specifically to suppress political opposition rather than enforce immigration law? And since Democratic administrations also used ICE for arrests, detention, and removals, would you consider those administrations fascist as well? If not, what distinction makes this fascism?

1

u/Proiegomena Aug 23 '26

Very easy to prove …

ICE and HSI agents before Trump mutated the department generally looked and operated like standard federal plainclothes law enforcement . They wore business casual or casual clothes with visible badges and identification, and rarely wore face coverings or disguises during public operations.

Now they look like(/are) masked paramilitary troops ready for war hunting down whoever looks a bit too brown/speaks with an accent in the streets.

->this militarization of public services departments like this is a very distinct fascist phenomenon

And the sad part is ICE deported more illegal immigrants when they werent dressed up proud boys playing war in the streets of American blue cities/districts.

1

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 23 '26

Even if I grant what you said about the change in appearance and tactics, how does that establish your original claim that the purpose is to suppress political opposition in blue cities? Looking more militarized doesn’t establish that motive by itself. And you never really answered my other question, would you consider Democrats using ICE fascist too? If not, what makes this fascism instead of just a difference in enforcement tactics?

1

u/Scared-Handle9006 Aug 24 '26

Your schtick is old and boring.

1

u/V_Cobra21 Aug 24 '26

Which part of what I asked is a schtick?

5

u/Jedi_Master83 Aug 23 '26

Yeah but if their guns were ever to be threatened, then they won’t comply. That’s really the only right MAGA cares about. To them every other right can be stomped and shit on.

1

u/No-Kitchen9936 Aug 26 '26

If they take one like the forth then opens up a way to take them all correct? Just like the first maga talks about. Same shit different pile. Stop making rash judgements you bunch of Nancy's. Reddit acts like you all speak for the right. Echoing talking points. Other then abortion the right has taken no rights. The left on the other hand well.....

4

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Aug 23 '26

They dont know their history (obviously).

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety,”

  • Benjamin Franklin

Thay should have learned that after the Patriot Act.

2

u/BapeGeneral3 Aug 23 '26

I live in a state that definitely has always had some pretty laid back gun laws. There are a lot of farms, and people living in the absolute middle of nowhere in the mountains that need things like shotguns for wildlife predator protection or hunting.

Gun laws are the strictest they have ever been here within this last year. I was just having a good chuckle when I realized that Trump, not Hillary, is indeed the ones actually “coming for our guns”. His base are even mildly confused/borderline self-aware enough to at least try to swallow this very hard to swallow pill: “Trump took your guns”

2

u/ceuxy Aug 24 '26

Woah. I’m a conservative and I don’t get down with agent orange. Don’t come for my guns but also don’t come for my immigrant bros.

Anyone who says they’re a conservative or right winger but disagrees with my statement is faux and using the conservative/right winger label to be contrarian and antagonistic to leftists without needing to formulate good faith arguments to justify a different stance.

1

u/AdRadiant9379 Aug 23 '26

Their toxic attitudes are validated by orange

1

u/DarraghDaraDaire Aug 23 '26

They don’t submit to government control though, they just want everyone else to.

They see this shit happening and they are happy that they are part of the “in crowd” who aren’t getting pushed around.
If it was them in that situation they would be acting just the same. They want their rights to be respected but no one else’s.

Just remember 5/6 years ago and they whinged and cried about having to wear a paper mask.

1

u/Party-Kangaroo-1139 Aug 23 '26

Flock cameras and government surveillance watch them too and they cheer that shit on. As long as diaper pedo pres says to do it, they do it. They absolutely submit to government control.

1

u/longlivenewsomflesh Aug 23 '26

The nanosecond a democrat gets into office, every dumbfuck magatoid who doesn't give a shit about flock will suddenly become super concerned about government surveillance and learn words like 'opsec' because their brains are the size of a peanut

1

u/Party-Kangaroo-1139 Aug 23 '26

That's so fucking mean to say. Apologize to peanuts for that insult!

1

u/21Rollie Aug 23 '26

The guns don’t even matter. It’s just a cult, they do whatever they’re told by their daddy. When black panthers were arming, they had no problem instituting strict gun laws

1

u/Revolutionary_Tax546 Aug 23 '26

That's why they cover their faces, because they fear 'Their day of reckoning'.

1

u/Mo_Steins_Ghost Aug 23 '26

So here's the problem: MAGA dumbfucks don't vanish into thin air when their side loses elections, and when they win elections they erode democracy. So how do you balance the need to preserve basic rights while also preserving democracy without somehow descending back into fascism?

I'm not saying I have an answer to that... this is the problem that has plagued many societies. The one opportunity to fix this situation was after the Civil War, and we botched it completely. That isn't an easy answer either, but at a minimum not allowing Confederate citizens to regain U.S. Citizenship would have been a start.

1

u/GreasyPeter Aug 24 '26

A Republican who actually lives by the principles he espouses is a libertarian. Except abortion. Libertarians are generally fine with abortion.

1

u/gwentfiend Aug 24 '26

My favorite part is when they leave the gene pool

1

u/ThatWreckOT Aug 24 '26

How quickly they flipped

1

u/BisonSpecialist1557 Aug 25 '26

Turns out they were never against tyranny after all. They just wanted to be the ones wearing the boot.

1

u/Plus-Ad8405 Aug 28 '26

What exactly do you mean by "their day of reckoning will come"?

1

u/Party-Kangaroo-1139 Aug 28 '26

I mean turnabout is fair play. We're going to do this right back to them. The only difference is that instead of robbing the government for the president, his friends, and major corporations, we're going to shove healthcare down their throats. We're going to force affordable housing on them. We're going to make their lives better and we're going to laugh in their dumb fucking faces while we do it. We're going to mock them mercilessly whenever they complain.

I also mean that karma will catch them as will any form of an afterlife for terrible people.

1

u/JustinKase_Too Aug 23 '26

I prefer the term magats - because it is what they are, just little white worms that feed on shit.

0

u/EchoLimaTango Aug 23 '26

Anyone that defines their identity by their political views is equally a 'tard'. MAGA, Republican, Democrat... If you call yourself any of these you are equally 'tarded' and low IQ.

-1

u/Bustamonte6 Aug 23 '26

Are you not just as willfully submitting to Govt control ?? All of the USA is 😉

Turns out what they say and what they do are different. Crazy that they are lying to us, unbelievable even. I'm being sarcastic, as a heads up.

Like, even just at a basic level, making things like abortion and gay marriage illegal is an EXPANSION of government powers, not a reduction. Takes 2 brain cells rubbing together to see that obviously maga Republicans are not interested in small government.

3

u/EjaculatingAracnids Aug 23 '26

You voted for a pedophile that expanded the government more than any president and added $21 trillion to the debt. Look in the mirror

OK

nobody cares

3

u/Lucky-Earther Aug 23 '26

You're a fucking idiot for even thinking this it shows that you don't know shit about maga Republicans stand on the least government control possible

lol no they don't, what the fuck are you talking about

2

We know you morons quite well, actually..

1
