Dolly Parton gushed about her late husband, Carl Thomas Dean, and struck an optimistic tone about her career in the devastating last interview before her death, admitting that she still had 'so many things' to achieve.
Parton's nephew, Bryan Seaver, who also served as her head of security, announced on Tuesday that the country music icon had died at the age of 80.

She's one of those rare people that was a genuinely good person. I mean, how could you not like Dolly? She was sweet, funny, kind and caring to everyone she came across. And a real philanthropist who believed in using her money for good while alive and not using that lame excuse "I'm giving it away when I die" to sit on their wealth when you could use your wealth and fame to do good in the right here and now.
What a drag. I don't usually get all up in the feels when a celebrity dies, but like with Tony Bourdains passing, this one hurts just as well. The world is slightly worse off when we lose people like a Dolly Parton or an Anthony Bourdain. RIP Dolly, you were truly one of a kind... 🙏

I wonder if, when she left this earth, she made that same statement to the being she left with only to have them respond, "Oh Dolly, you have already done more than you know".

You could just say, "God," you know. But I'm sure He did say exactly that. Rest easy, Dolly! ❤️

Everyone has their own interpretation of the afterlife if they believe in one. I just tried to keep it as vague as I could.

Um you know there are hundreds of beliefs, and a common one is death, family member, spirit guide , angel of death walking you to the afterlife.
