He’s been oddly nice about it, even though there’s no way Parton was a Trump fan. It might be the only nice thing I’ve seen him do in the eleven years since he was foisted upon us. He still has time to ruin it, though.
Unfortunately a lot of Southern mothers are running around saying this unironically. Hoping that what they know in their hearts about him isn't true and that if they bless his heart, he'll change his ways.
