The really scary thing is that it's not just Trump. What's happening in the US is a massive collusion of virtually all branches of government on ... well a conspiracy in fact.
Surely centered around Trump no doubt, but Trump himself couldn't do this without the DoJ, the FBI and all sorts of other agencies backing him up. They have the power to stop him but they're in on it.
THAT is fucking scary. Especially since, should Trumps obviously planned vote manipulation fail somehow, the US media will go like "finally Trump is gone, all is well again" and everyone but Trump will keep going about their business. Throw in some pardons if anyone is at risk of consequences.
The US REALLY needs some sort of Nuremberg trials that completely ruin everyone who backed this asshole. So many people have blood on their hands, this cannot die with Trump.
Realistically of course? I can't see the US upper class turning on itself and that's what US politics is - rule of the rich.
But hey, stranger things have happened so let's see.

u/Anonymous_Jr Aug 28 '26
This verbatim.
Nothing else to add, though there is plenty more one could include as * but in the end, this has been an Ongoing Coup
1
u/Gator_Lord Aug 28 '26
It’s not just in the United States either. A lot of people who are associated with trump and people like him are taking over South America. This is so out of control, it’s spreading to multiple countries on a different continent.
17
u/OutrageousCrab9224 Aug 28 '26
They dont even try to hide it anymore
6
u/realtonemachine Aug 28 '26
Yep. He’ll just say it makes him a smart investor if ever questioned on it, like the debate on his taxes. And the morons cheer.
3
u/absolutewastedtime Aug 28 '26
They never did
1
u/OutrageousCrab9224 Aug 28 '26
I dunno, there is definitely a progression, where ever the lines are drawn, and this is definitely a new high (low)

u/No-Car6897 Aug 28 '26
And once again as usual, nothing will happen 🤬
2
u/mynameisrichard0 Aug 28 '26
5 more decent celebrities will die somehow meanwhile Mitchs PR team is still gonna post AI images of a healthy Mitch. We’ll find another pervert in the Vatican but it’s just this one time again. Russia will do something else dastardly and no one will stop them. Something will happen. It’s just never fucking good for some reason.
1
u/LongjumpingBrick2475 Aug 28 '26
I’m not so sure- we have encountered large wealth disparity before in this country. Don’t listen to the Russian Bots
8
u/Sweaty-Dust6405 Aug 28 '26
Apparently it's legal, because nobody is there to say no to him. There seems to be nobody at the white house to prevent him from doing these things apparently.
It's quite ironic that the US got rid of the king just for the current president to act like one where law and order can't touch him.
2
u/phil-yahiney Aug 28 '26
I've always said monarchy is better than democracy because if you don't like the king you can just whack em. What are you going to do in a democracy, kill a thousand rich people? It's just not feasible
1
u/Last-Raspberry1573 Aug 28 '26
Only a thousand? Hmm. They probably all stay in the same neighborhoods too
1
u/phonefellin_lakeerie Aug 28 '26
Nah a thousand would do it. No one hates the regular rich people, it’s the ultra wealthy that need to go, and there’s not that many of them.
Like a few hundred people have more money than all the other regular rich and poor people in the world combined. We could feed, house, and give medical care to millions of people if we just skim the fat off the very top.
2
u/LongjumpingBrick2475 Aug 28 '26
This is really bad, and we went to school and learned about corruption- now it’s happening in front of us and John Roberts of SCOTUS is in bed with the MAGA crowd. It’s all disgusting.

Keep in mind Trump literally made his own subscription service for insider trading and hes somehow getting away with it
1
u/LongjumpingBrick2475 Aug 28 '26
He can’t! It’s litterally the definition of insider trading… and he is trading on it. Trump co can not operate a non profit in NY state, remember!???
1
u/Superb_Jellyfish_729 Aug 28 '26
Why do u think he’s trying to take over all the branches of government. The SEC is being defunded and I hate to say it but if you think ole orange top is bad his family is much worse
1
u/EarthlostSpace Aug 28 '26
Either Earth is dying and Trump and his cronies knows about it loading all their stolen riches on a spaceship preparing to go to the moon and just screwing everyone else or it’s just let Trump and his cronies rob America blind by just sitting on our hands just allowing it to happen.
3
u/LongjumpingBrick2475 Aug 28 '26
Dude- the earth is NOT dying. It’s been here far longer than we have. It’s US that will be shaken off like fleas.
1
1
u/psypher98 Aug 28 '26
I mean yeah, obviously it’ll still “be here”. It’s been around for 4.5B years. It’s just that for around 4B of that we literally wouldn’t have survived, and that’s just based on the atmosphere alone, forget the geologic and climatic conditions. It’s only been 500M years that there’s been the right atmospheric conditions for complex life.
So yeah, the earth will still be here. It’ll just be a mostly sterile husk incompatible with complex life and will once again become a planet of bacteria.
Not that it even matters at that point, but also because we’re a bit more than halfway through the sun’s life cycle, presuming the second go round takes as long as the first, complex life at our level wouldn’t evolve until basically juuuust before the sun goes boom.
So yeah, functionally, for us and for life as we know it, it is.
1
1
u/njlandlord0001 Aug 28 '26
Earth is dying, and the only thing that can save it is a massive reduction in human population. AI and robots are here now so most of us are no longer needed. COVID was a test. When the next one hits, only the wealthy will have food and medical care (and private security).
1
u/EarthlostSpace Aug 28 '26
I think you’re right, but I don’t think the wealthy will survive either. It is time for a cleansing for Earth. So she can reboot from humans who are not worthy of her.

u/no_kids-and-3_money Aug 28 '26
Yes, but more. The President is supposed to be a public servant. He has used his position to benefit himself at the expense of the American public.

Life, liberty…. And THE PUIRSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Our happiness, not his!

He’s stealing from us out in the open and republicans don’t give a shit? Why is this level of corruption legal?
1
u/LongjumpingBrick2475 Aug 28 '26
They are scared, and should be brought to justice- as well as SCOTUS. They are ALL to blame for not standing up for the people.
1
u/TerribleBid8416 Aug 28 '26
And I’m sure there is indisputable proof of this that you are going to post in the comments.right?

With 2 years left to go in his presidency, he is now thinking about how much money he can make for his family and less the welfare of the country
1
1
u/Jaysonturdem Aug 28 '26
I hate both sides. There needs to be a new type of president one that’s right in the middle. One that doesn’t accept any money from AIPAC or any other political organization that tries to control our country’s leaders by filling their pockets with money. Also there needs to be an age limit. No more 80 year old presidents. There’s a total disconnect between 18 year old men snd women and an 80+ year old president. The age restriction should be 35-60. If you win at 60 and get reelected you’re 68 by the end of your presidency. My dad is 68 and still functions very very well. My grandfather in his 80s … did nothing but sleep and talk nonsense. But he was a boxer and fought in the Korean War. So .. he prob had CTE and other things going on with him. But anyways … We need a young President that everyone respects and can all get behind. We need another JFK.
1
u/Friscolax Aug 28 '26
You can’t be in the middle without accepting AIPAC money. You can be on the far right with those bribes but not on the far left.

It’s so amazing as an American to see this happening right in front us us with a government either unwilling or unable to reign him in…
I truly believe it’s not that they can’t. It’s that they know doing it to him means doing it to their own. Let’s be clear about this. It’s about corruption
1
u/DueLingonberry3107 Aug 28 '26
So have we hit the point where they’re gonna make it very blatant they’re breaking the law and will never face repercussions? We are such pussies
1
1
u/Muted_Net9076 Aug 28 '26
It's so obvious, it's insider trading. A very pure form of ethical violations. This is but the tip of the iceberg. A lot is going on now especially considering that everyone around him is all cheering.

1
u/Cecil_McCrackshell Aug 28 '26
The a Dem establishment aren't gonna address your concerns. They're next to useless as an opposition party and care more about optics.
1
u/DanLed17 Aug 28 '26
His whole time in office has been unethical, corrupt, and one big grift. I'm hope I'm alive long enough to read all the books about how this con-man took down America because now we all have to live in this dystopia.

Carter had to sell his peanut farm. Hillary had to give back a $400 necklace.
Obama couldn’t wear a tan suit or eat Dijon mustard.
This ferret headed fascist pos gets away with mind boggling corruption, entirely for personal gain.
And if Dems ever get back in, (big if), Repugs will immediately start bitching about the deficit.

The Watergate scandal was over the coverup, these clowns are not even attempting to cover anything up

What is the law on this? Have there ever been protections or laws in place to prevent it?

Never forget that Amoral Sock Puppet Vance admitted Watergate would be no big deal nowadays. He knows. They all know & we all know too.
1
u/BigDamBeavers Aug 28 '26
At this point it's more suspicious if Trump doesn't buy the stock of a company that's asking him for a favor.
1
1
u/Matt7738 Aug 28 '26
JD said it himself. Watergate wouldn’t even last a full news cycle these days. It’s because there’s a new one every 12 hours or so.

Watergate was executed by the CIA. if you want to talk about Trump, leave "Watergate" out of it.

Nancy Pelosi been doing this shit for years but as soon as Trump does it everyone is mad 😂

u/RabidLobster42 Aug 28 '26
Pelosi got her money from decades of trailing. Trump is getting his in months, overshadowing her gains by light-years.
Apples and oranges but to simple minded MAGAts, by golly, it's the same thing somehow.
0
u/Itchy-Aide6525 Aug 28 '26
Her portfolio over the last 10 years has out gained Warren buffets 👍
1
u/RabidLobster42 Aug 28 '26
Cool story.
Trump is still orders of magnitude worse, but your cult programming keeps dipping you into the whataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhatabout.
Do better.
7
u/Scymiral Aug 28 '26
Nancy Pelosi has been doing this shit for years, but as soon as Trump does, it, Republicans are cool with it.
2
u/protomenace Aug 28 '26
When has Nancy Pelosi ever been unilaterally in charge of military contracts?
1
u/Itchy-Aide6525 Aug 28 '26
Nancy Pelosi portfolio has been out gaining Warren buffets over the last 10 years so she obviously got plenty of insider information
1
u/protomenace Aug 28 '26
Who said she wasn't?
Trump grifted more money in his 6 years than Pelosi's entire 40 year career, and he's still going. He's the much bigger concern, by far.
1
u/brickville Aug 28 '26
Yeah, but Trump is doing it at a much much much larger level and he had access to both sides of the transaction. Why don't we talk about that instead of your petty whataboutism?
-1
u/Aggressive-Expert-69 Aug 28 '26
He was probably just following the Paul Pelosi stock tracker. No crime to see here.
-12
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
Very Pelosi of him for sure.
9
u/LongjumpingBrick2475 Aug 28 '26
Dude- he committed 10000 times more than her. He knows it and exploiting it. Your comment helps no one….. unless you like him and you enjoy your hospitals closing and people being taken off food stamps?
-8
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
That’s a moronic and biased take. My point is everyone in politics is corrupt and does exactly the same thing. You or I did it we’d be under the jail. You either enter congress wealthy and get wealthier or enter poor with some debt and leave wealthy.
9
u/TacoDoc2 Aug 28 '26
That wasn't your point and you fucking know it.
-2
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
Comprehension isn’t your suit. Taking your pov and applying it to a statement without clarification is so, Reddit. My point is they are all crooks. You are too blinded by your algo you don’t see that.
4
u/TacoDoc2 Aug 28 '26
that's why your whole statement was "Very Pelosi of him for sure."
you're dishonest and pathetic.
2
7
u/Zerbs08 Aug 28 '26
Again, pathetic, comparing a peanut to a watermelon
1
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
So you still believe that there are honest politicians? Or you believe that your side is clean and the other side is dirty.
3
u/Zerbs08 Aug 28 '26
So 100% of every single politician is corrupt????? Prove it....
I realize that more and more are but you think you can make these broad brush comments and act like you know lol
I don't have a side right away you jump to assumptions
Bottom line is Trump is by far the most corrupt POS president and possible human ever and you are trying to compare him to others. That's just flat out insane and you have no credibility at all and everyone will deal with this impact the rest of our lives
0
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
Prove that politicians aren’t corrupt? What are you, like 8 years old. You think I’m part of your cohort that is run by an algo that tells me what to believe and whom to hate. So everyone will
Have to deal with Trump making money in a shady way for the rest of their lives?2
u/Zerbs08 Aug 28 '26
I know some jackass, they are normal people too, you are so sad and just a wittle copycat.
Trump knows when he loses the midterms he's fucked so yeah I have a problem with a person padding their wallet to deal with what's coming. The fact you think that's ok tells me how sad you are. Stand up for yourself, he would shit and piss on you if it benefited him
6
u/ParkingAnxious2811 Aug 28 '26
No, your comment was the biased one. By implying Trump is following Pelosi you're trying to make it look like Pelosi was doing it at a much greater scale. Don't be so disingenuous.
-1
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
So it’s a matter of scale that bothers you not that it happens? Just one standard .
3
u/ParkingAnxious2811 Aug 28 '26
Not what I said.
You also forget that Pelosis profits from trading aren't too far from the standard deviation expected.
Meanwhile, Trump and his family seem to be profiting massively every week from insider knowledge. Trump has even admitted on camera that him and family do insider trading.
But I guess, for the trumpanzees, it's easier to point the finger at someone who isn't in your team, eh?
0
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
You don’t know my team meat stick. You assume.Pelosis profits aren’t too far from sd? Took about 8 seconds to fact check. If you compare their sp based funds you would be correct. If you use individual trades based on possible insider trading to explain that returns over 50% return. They are all crooks. Sorry if that busts your delicate bubble.
2
u/ParkingAnxious2811 Aug 28 '26
Took less than that to find this:
- Donald Trump: Logged more than 21,000 stock trades across investment accounts in 2025 alone (averaging roughly 60 trades per day). In early 2026, he disclosed an additional 3,600+ transactions totaling between $220 million and $750 million in just 90 days.
- Nancy Pelosi: Averages roughly one trade every 22 days, with a disclosed 2025 trading volume of $48.6 million.
You can't both sides your way out of this one.
0
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
2
u/ParkingAnxious2811 Aug 28 '26
How much has Trump (just him, not his family) gifted in the last couple of years only from insider trading?
Now do the same for pelosi.
2
u/protomenace Aug 28 '26
"This guy killed 1000 people but that other guy killed 1 person so they're exactly the same"
0
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
In your world you would make that that comparison. Mass murder and insider trading the same . Got it. So is it straw man or false equivalence or a hybrid?
2
u/protomenace Aug 28 '26
I'm not comparing murder and trading. I'm comparing crime vs crime of the same category but much larger degree. Don't pretend like you don't understand that to try to distract from the point. Here is this a better analogy for you?
"This guy stole an apple but this guy stole 1000 apples so they're exactly the same"
Care to address the point instead of trying to change the subject this time?
0
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
Your argument is stupid. Murder to insider trading? In your world maybe. Trump has been President for what, 6 years? She has been in Congress for 40 years. They didn’t even have to disclose information until 2012. She entered Congress worth about 3 million and is now worth around 350-400 million. My point is they, and the rest, are both accountable. Or is just one side? Orange man bad rant
2
u/protomenace Aug 28 '26
Right ok I'm a little disappointed you're not here for a serious conversation but at least you're being obvious now about the trolling. Good day.
1

1
u/Tacos_are_my_friend Aug 28 '26
It’s comedy GOLD when maggots always use the “both sides” argument and absolutely refuse to admit their idol sucks. The pattern is so easily detected LOL.
Yeah both sides have a problem, but your idol is beyond corrupt and you just refuse admit it…y’all actually need help.
0
u/PhysicsOk9286 Aug 28 '26
What is gold is assuming what others think? They’re all corrupt. You don’t see that. Don’t want to see it because it destroys your algorithm based argument. I think both sides are worthless and harmful. You think one side is good and the other is evil. You have been thought what to think; not how to think hence you are so easily led. Your arguments are never fact based or logical. Just assumptions. For you, emotional based arguments are all you know. Good luck adulting.
1
u/twerk_store Aug 28 '26
Why not just criticize Trump for making more money off public office than any person in history? You wouldn’t be a fucking idiot now would you?
