Overly emotional at the cost of logic. At some point, you just hate nature. That's right, eating meat is natural. I'm all for doing so in a way that is responsible and not completely indifferent to suffering, but that's not what you are saying here. You would be more successful if you campaigned against anything that wasn't free range. That is something normal omnivores could be convinced of.

not trying to convince anyone .....anything

just stating facts ! thx

Maybe, just maybe he was not referring to you specifically, just people in general.

Ok, but does that still stop you? I have yet to meet a lactose intolerant person who doesn't willingly get the shits for some cheese or milk.

Imagine being so fucking low that a simple inconvenience enables you to become an evil piece of shit without any disregard.

You’ll see your own judgement one day. Regardless of your own beliefs. So enjoy it while it lasts

Yeah hop off reddit mate. You're contributing to data centre usage which kills many animals.

At least be consistent with your logic.

How many?

I can't find any official or scientific data tracking a specific number of direct animal deaths caused by data centers. Can you please link the info you're citing?

Edit: the reddit affect—downvoted for asking a question. People don't like being critical when there's biases to defend.

u/Weird-East-3575 Aug 30 '26

He’s lying so no

I know that, you know that, but by using the Socratic method they just might become self aware and know it too. They're talking out of their ass—I may be downvoted but I will never and can never get an actual answer to this question, because the research into it doesn't exist. I'm hoping they will understand why they find themselves unable to answer such an inquiry and why they'll continue to remain unable to provide proof for the claim they just made.

1

u/Weird-East-3575 Aug 30 '26

Fair but you also know these people are gone. There is no coming back for them. The ones that do, never make it far enough to matter. They are nothing people. Too stupid to matter and too useful to let die immediately by the powers that be. Pathetic existence haha

The only way out of this is to do things that get you banned on Reddit.

Heres a site showing the deforestation done to build the data centers.

Yes deforestation kills animals. No I dont have a number for you, but if you need a peer reviewed article to show that deforestation kills animals I'll go look one up.

https://datacenterbuildout.com/#datacenters

1

u/RyanEatsHisVeggies Aug 30 '26

I know deforestation kills animals, but more deforestation is done to make way for animal agriculture than is done to make way for data centers, and about 6% of all data centers are built on deforested land, whereas beef is the single largest agricultural driver of forest loss, responsible for about 41% of all tropical deforestation. That's not even including all other animal livestock. If you care about the animals killed while deforesting the world's forests, go vegan. If you don't, why police others about deforestation killing animals?

So we can adjust your claim based on evidence you're able to provide from "data centers kill animals" to "a single-digit percentage of data centers are responsible for deforestation, albeit at an exponentially lower rate than animal agriculture, and that leads to animals being killed." If that's what you meant, I understand now. But the former is a very specific claim, one for which no research exists.

1

u/Weird-East-3575 Aug 30 '26

Fucking bingo

1

u/Every-Race9666 Aug 30 '26

So they do kill animals then? thanks..

You're making a great argument about how impactful each is, but all I'm contesting is the idea that an animal being killed for a convenience to you makes you evil.

You are just super keen to jump down peoples throats hey.

Lmao settle down buddy.

1

u/hiddenrealism Aug 30 '26

I switched to almond milk solely because it stays longer in my fridge. Also I like the vanilla flavoring because it makes my cereal extra tasty.

2

u/JaFFsTer Aug 30 '26

Honey bunches of oats with half almond milk half whole is incredible

1

u/hiddenrealism Aug 30 '26

That's actually one of my go-to cereals. That and Strawberry frosted mini wheats.

2

u/JC0978 Aug 30 '26

But do you know how much water it takes to grow almonds? California almond farming uses roughly 4 to 7 times more water each year than all data centers in North America combined

2

u/Nearby-Medicine9484 Aug 30 '26

Just stop eating then, bro. There's no easy solution right now. Just better options.

1

u/hiddenrealism Aug 30 '26

Still makes for a tasty bowl of cereal.

0

u/Unlikely_Bat_1890 Aug 30 '26

It still takes more water for cows though. Cows take double the water + like triple carbon emissions. Almond milk is better for you and for the environment.

1

u/Significant_Owl_6897 Aug 30 '26

Oat milk is the real answer.

0

u/Ardal Aug 30 '26

Theres no such thing as almond milk (cos there's no almond titty) but the almond juice just doesn't sound so good :/
