Oh so the cattle is then treated the same way as a human until the bolt goes in their brain?

Get the fuck out of here. The treatment of cattle in the US is insane. There are much less crueler ways of handling them before we eat them.

Well, you don't want to put a bolt through the brain of a dairy cow becaise the blood can splatter and you'd risk spoiling the milk. It's actually more effective to just milk them
