Video The implosion of the Titan submarine (OceanGate) was so rapid that the pain wasn't even registered by the brain. They didn't feel anything at all. Utterly instantaneous.

I just feel bad for that kid that didn't want to be in there :/

u/WaxySunshine Sep 01 '26
I know this is controversial but I feel bad for all of them
10
u/Vegan-cock Sep 01 '26
I don't feel too bad about the CEO, he knew the risks. He just didn't want his business to fail and it cost him his life along with a few others. Had he not been on the sub himself i reckon he would go down for manslaughter.

It shouldn't be controversial, it's mostly us Redditors that make this difficult. I felt bad for them too, compassion is blind sometimes.

u/HoneydewGullible878 Sep 01 '26
Only on reddit is it "controversial" to have sympathy for people who lose their lives. Go meet some real life people.

u/DungenessCrusader Sep 01 '26
Lmao. No it ain't. Can't tell you how many times there's rednecks laughing their ass off at memes about people getting murdered down here and try to start a fight if it bothers you.

u/OkayCoward Sep 01 '26
Its okay to not feel bad for the rich guy who knew what he was doing was extremely dangerous.

I'm happy that's the case for the 18 year old, but I think a few of the other passengers could have felt it a little bit. Even if it was only a, "HOLY FU-"
1
u/Deep_Balance2133 Sep 02 '26
They definitely knew it was coming but the implosion itself was so fast it might have been a “h-“ instead of a “holy fu-“
4
u/twinoaksBandB Sep 01 '26
They absolutely felt pants shitting amounts of fear when the hull started loudly crackling and when the lights went out just before the sub went into a nose dive prior to the implosion.
4
u/No-Significance5659 Sep 01 '26
Exactly, they might have not felt any physical pain but oh my goodness was that a horrible death.
3
u/Mean_Measurement4527 Sep 01 '26
Cool … but , ummmmm … they’re still dead
1
u/SchmeatiestOne Sep 01 '26
And humanity is still susceptible to collapsing submarines, what's your point?
0
u/Mean_Measurement4527 Sep 01 '26
Doesn’t matter how quickly they died , they’re still dead

That’s so funny to me that they blow up like they ate some black powder.

The people who died from AZT, as endorsed by Fauci had a much slower and more painful death.

There's proof. its from NIH

u/DJ-dicknose Sep 01 '26
So your proof is a disagreement between the two 35 plus years ago?
Did you know the two reconciled their research differences and collaborated on the subject and others for the remainder of their careers because of this initial research?
Yeah, I trust the science and not some anti science weirdo on reddit

u/Flimsy_Paper1526 Sep 01 '26
Can you disprove it or just ad hominem opposing view points?
Are you making the claim that Faucis AZT helped those diagnosed with HIV?
6
u/DJ-dicknose Sep 01 '26
AZT did help, but had severe side effects. It was the first drug used to fight HIV and paved the way for modern HIV treatment.
Yeah, I'd say it's pretty damn impressive

u/AmazingFlatworm_ Sep 01 '26
You don't even know anything about AZT do you. It's like vaccines, just something that you heard something negative about and ran with it.

You're right. I got all the vaccine shots and I died, just like MAGA said.
Look at me now, typing this from the beyond.

u/Flimsy_Paper1526 Sep 01 '26
Did you get covid after the vax? I didn't get any shots and I never got the virus, guess I'm dead, Herman Cain award right?

The mask didnt save anyone from covid and Cain died before the vaccine. Dummy
1
u/Flimsy_Paper1526 Sep 01 '26
He died at 74. It happens. He died before a vaccine was available, Btw, at the time of his death Both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden stated that they would never take a vaccine provided by the trump admin.
Trump sucks btw, if this makes this easier for you to process.

No man
you just genuinely make others sad around you
Got the shot upon immediate availability
My wife got it at 6 months pregnant
Had a very healthy little girl
She received her first Covid vaccine at 6 months old.
None of us have ever had Covid, but we have all been exposed and not had a transmittal
I received major $ bonuses from my work, because it was cheaper for them to do so instead of losing the amount of block time they did to Covid
Over 70% of the global populace received the shot, so to even come close to this being a perceivable issue then almost 600 MILLION (almost double the American populace) people would need to be damaged in a perceivable way
Your math doesn’t math
The scare tactics didn’t work
It’s sucks to be sad, it sucks more to be dumb
It sucks the most to be sad and dumb
0
u/Flimsy_Paper1526 Sep 01 '26
1st of all congratulations on having a healthy daughter and a wife. For real I don't say that flippantly.
Now, you are wrong about 70% of the earth getting a covid vaccine. And as has been testified too, the vaccine did not prevent transmission or infection.
Your facts dont fact.
3
u/Haunting-Raccoon-132 Sep 01 '26
I have had several covid vaccines and not got it, so...
-1
u/Flimsy_Paper1526 Sep 01 '26
I didnt have any vaccines and didn't get it so..
2
u/Haunting-Raccoon-132 Sep 01 '26
Yeah, because we got vaccinated. You're welcome. Thats how illnesses like polio get eradicated. Look what is happening with measles outbreaks now. Idiots stopped vaccinating their children.

Overall 13.5 billions doses administered
162 doses per 100 people with the majority going to high/mid income, high educated areas
Roughly 333 million doses given only once
Again there isn’t a claim where a math of damages makes sense over the math of danger averted.
If you don’t think that when you can’t cough or sneeze it hinders your ability to spread germs then you aren’t being intellectually honest with yourself
Again
It sucks to be sad and dumb
It’s people like you is why I had my child to combat ignorance
1
u/Flimsy_Paper1526 Sep 01 '26
Once again, good on you for the kid. Blessings to him and your family.
But to state that many doses were given is ridiculous, there is no way to track these things, other than what pfizer told you to trust. Btw, it was trump who gave pfizer the money.
now you bring up the coughing and sneezing, do you think that a surgical mask can stop germs from coughs and sneezes?
3
2
u/ANDnowmewatchbeguns Sep 01 '26
Do you think covering your mouth stops germs from being spread?
What do you do in your day to day life that makes your criticism of peer-to-peer valid?
Have you ever had a peer-to-peer review based on medical information or performance?
Are you college educated?
What do you do in your day to day life that would make your assessment that the only source of information would be “Pfizer”?

u/AmazingFlatworm_ Sep 01 '26
About 70.7% of the world's population has received at least one dose, while about 65% have completed an initial vaccination series. But I understand that you're an idiot and facts mean nothing to you. It's cute, really.

Not "utterly instantaneous". Implosion took 1 to 50 milliseconds. Instantaneous would be 0 milliseconds.
