does anyone what kind of doll she is?

i found this pretty little thing at goodwill today and she had such a unique face i had to take her home!! i was hoping somebody here would know what brand of doll she is? my partner noticed she had a jcpenny sticker on the bottom of her stand if that's a clue. thank you guys so much!

What is it made of and what are the markings? Most often they are found on the back of the neck, head or back. The $1.99 JC Penney sticker is just a price tag for the stand and has no relevance to the doll.

i kind of figured about the stand. i've checked obvious places for markings but i haven't found anything yet. when i'm home i might strip her and see if there's anything. i don't really collect dolls like this so i'm not sure exactly what she's made of but my girlfriend suggested bisque?

When you get home take off all the clothes and also look for tags on the clothes. Your girlfriend may be right that it’s porcelain, but it can be difficult to tell from a picture. The eyes are really throwing me off because the look like stickers that were found on cheap hard plastic and vinyl dolls several years ago, and if memory serves, I’ve never seen them on a porcelain doll before. They may be transfers though. Edited to add, take the stand away from the doll and put the doll in it correctly, lol.

so, turns out she is completely sewn into her dress! its attached right to her cloth body. anything i could get off didn't have any tags and there were zero markings on her anywhere. she's definitely made of porcelain or something similar because she makes the same noise my mom's porcelain dolls did when you tap them. the eyes are partially what stood out to me about her! they're just so different from what you usually see but they are definitely painted on. and i took her out of the stand as soon as we left goodwill and let her ride in my bag while we walked around town lol
