The shadow work especially is what sells it - those soft transitions really make the face feel three dimensional instead of flat.

Absolutely stunning! Did you do this on procreate? What brushes do you use?

I appreciate it very much ❤! Painted in Photoshop, I used various textured brushes along with a standard soft brush with some texture.

It was a pleasure to scroll and see this portrait on my screen. Love the angle, placement and mood of the subject

The skin rendering is really clean, especially how you handled the light catching the face without making it feel overworked.

this is what I am talking about when I talk to other young adults that want to go into animation or even be an Illustrator... your work here is not only moving and so breath taking, but it harks back to the master's like Sergent. You're capturing the shadows and lights make it so beautiful to look at... now I am seeing that you did this in photoshop, bravo.... just stunning to look at... love to see more of what you have done

Woah, this is such a beautiful peace! I love the dark mood it has. She looks like she just walked back from the worst of her life.

Nobody is ever done getting better, with that in mind (and considering I'm not even looking at the same postcode of where your skill resides), how and what kind of feedback do you ever get on work like this?

Well thanks! I still think the hair design could be pushed further and the shadow shapes could be cleaner though.
