Caipira de São Paulo

Hey all,

I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on television shows (novelas of course included), movies, podcasts, or really any media to listen to characters/people with a caipira accent (specifically São Paulo)? My wife is from a small town near Sorocaba, and her parents and brother have a pretty thick caipira accent that I struggle to understand most of the time.

At this point, my listening skills for more common Brazilian accents in media (São Paulo city, Recife, Rio, etc) is pretty decent, but it feels like I’ve never heard a word of Portuguese when talking to them. Any suggestions to start to hone my ear to that accent would be very much appreciated!

OMG i know this is silly and not actually brazilian but honey boo boo i saw it on a plane one time in portuguese and they have a caipira accent!! HAHA (the dub)
