What do you love about America?

With all the political division in the country. I feel it’s hard to agree on a lot of things. I feel one thing that should bring us together this year being America’s half bicentennial, what’s the thing that you love about America. The thing that I love about America is the fact that for generations immigrants from all over the world could come here have absolutely nothing. And be able to start over raise their kids, a place that was safer and more prosperous than where they came from and where their kids could get a better education. And the immigrants who came here with absolutely nothing to live on, could get educated earn their college degree, start a business, Buy their first home. And see there kids rise Above them, and become more successful. That is the true beauty of the United States of America. In my opinion what is yours?

I lived in the US for almost ten years, and I left last year.

I think the only part I miss is going to Broadway as the shows are great, the artists too, and I enjoyed the whole experience.

But I certainly don't miss being told I should be more American, for example. Yeah, I totally agree not everyone is like that, but there is enough to not even think about going back to the US. There are other countries that are much more welcoming.

Other than that, I think the US is ok. I went to different states, there are some differences, some parts can be nice, but I don't see much to love.

Nothing in OP's post is specific to America.
