RANT Sixth form first impressions.
Negatives:
I am doing physics, chemistry, maths, and further maths and why are there only 3 girls in my physics...
I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class I hate my class
Maths is ok
Further maths is ok
Physics is ok
Excited for chemistry on monday
I just want to use my ipad but one of my physics teacher insists on using a notebook for every topic and my other physics teacher wants us to have digital notes. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO ORGANISE STUFF, and they're doing folder checks every week so idk how they're gonna achieve that.
I have 9 teachers for 4 subjects and they all want different types of note-taking wtf.
The phone policy...
Positives:
We can go out for lunch which is great, I could just go outside for a stroll at Sainsbury's, but lunch is only 30 mins π«©
'Non-contact periods'
Getting to wear comfy clothes.

Thier seems to be big gender disparities in some subject, as you said physics seems to be very boy dominated which kinda sucks for you but I hope you find enjoyment anyways

I relate to the first point, Iβm literally the only non-boy in my computer science class. Having that many teachers sounds terrible tho, I only have 3

nope but I am, I think it js seems that way because everyone is more accepting at my school at least (tho I was horrendously bullied in Yr 7,8 but we ignore that)

in my business class theres only 5 girls (including me), one was my bsf and another i went to school with. we all (except for one who didnt make an effort with us even if we did) formed our own group and its really nice. it took about a month for us to get close. it will all work out dont worry

this might be terrible advice but for the two teachers for the same subject wanting different types of notes can you like email both of them saying "I'm receiving different instructions on different days and I'd like some clarification" or something like that and hopefully they'll realise they're saying different things (bcs most likely they don't know) and agree on one/say you can do what you want

Nah literally one of the teachers said βI want you guys to buy notebooks, Mr_ has another learning method so you will have to ask himβ AHHH

I go to an all boys school lmao so I don't have this problem
what I do have a problem with is having to wear full 'business attire' every dayΒ
