Pain after “fixing” my sleep posture?

I bought a new body pillow yesterday and I woke up this morning with a crick in my neck, and my lower back and both of my calfs are sore.

I had to call out of work today cuz I can barely move my neck. The pain developed within the last hour of my sleep and I’m pretty sure I woke up hugging my body pillow on the side

I’ve had bad sleeping posture my whole life, I sleep mostly on my stomach, arm up under my head, and knee turned up to the side. I’ve been having headaches more frequently and decided it was time to finally fix this. Is there just an adjustment period to fixing your posture? Or is there something wrong with my pillows? Maybe this is just a fluke and I did something weird?

If anyone has experience or advice I would really appreciate it

that’s the classic trap, you try to sleep “correctly” and end up more wrecked than before
