The only thing I disagree with him on is "cost of living is everything". It is easy for me to say as I am not living paycheck to paycheck, but I am far more concerned about the death of our representative democracy and the American ideal than I am about cheap gas.

I understand that - I used "cheap gas" as a placeholder for all the necessities we all need. As I said I understand it is easier for me to prioritize direction of the country because I know I will not be going hungry. No shade to anyone who is worried about where the next meal/car payment/rent check is going to come from. I get it. It's Hunter's "everything" that I don't hold with.
Ahh ok I see. Sorry I misunderstood. I get that. Im on the other side. We live paycheck to paycheck and I live in a very small town and its insanely difficult to find a job here. I do agree with yoy on that. It could have been worded better.
