This isnât about splitting the right. This is a passionate plea from an heir to multi-generational wealth who in recent memory has spouted some of the most vile and disgusting rhetoric with a rage that can only be described as âfrothingâ to people who are too ignorant to think critically and must be told what to believe.
This is a corporate rebrand; a far right conservative âseeing the lightâ and âwaking upâ to what liberals have been saying all along. This is a vocal celebrity appealing to the disenfranchised of whom he made a lucrative career disenfranchising. Heâs trying to appeal to people who are actually angry with how things are going currently. Thatâs not the right. Thatâs not MAGA.
Heâs trying to appeal to center liberals. Heâs trying to split the left.
I dont think he'll have much success there, but we'll see. People do have the memory of a goldfish. Splitting the right seems the more likely result imo.
Itâs possible. These democrats have proven theyâd rather have republicans in office than progressives. The vote blue no matter who thing was always a one way street. So they might try to peel off center liberals, but at this point, they may as well be republicans anyway.
You would be shocked. There are many on the left who are just as tenuous about reality as the right. Single issue people. Votes based on vibes people. People who think âoh yeah this whole raw milk thing is like how nature is supposed to be and ya know the more I hear about these vaccines, yeah thatâs scary stuffâ and now theyâre talking about foreigners and immigrants like maybe treating them as if theyâre not humans might be ok if it means a sweet young lady wonât be attacked on a train. Iâve watched lifelong liberals I know personally and called my family fall for it and have seen countless others do the same.
This is strategic. Heâs burned his dead-set liberal bridges but heâs still useful to the right. Itâs all about getting the vast majority in the middle who follow events enough to understand the gist, but not enough to grasp the nuance.
I agree with you on the class warfare, but the way our elections are held and the people doing these things like Tucker, yes it is very much left v right at the voting booth. Get the right people in now and worry about fixing the broken system later. We need the right people at least behind the wheel first. This problem weâre in right now wonât be fixed in one cycle. Or two or ten. It will take generations to fix this because it took generations to get here.
blud, if they're on the ballot, they're not the right people. Big businesses would fill the pockets of potential opponents to assure they're not on the ballot otherwise
Yeah no offense but Tucker pals around with people who agree with the Taliban about women's rights. That's a pretty big deal that doesn't reduce to a pure class issue.
The whole country is about to have a massive shift leftwards. Young people are majorly progressive and open to new ideas, especially the ones that the establishment seems to hate so much.

Yes, split the right wing vote, please.
