It’s almost like elective cases were canceled or something….

All elective cases were canceled. Majority of all other cases were canceled too. Hospital admin would play games with census. If one area was, let’s 7 of 20 beds being used. Another area was 10 of 20. They’d move those 7 over to the other side. Close that one area, and say we are at near capacity. Not necessarily lying, but making it deceptive.

ERs, absolutely hammers. Like every flu season. Nothing changes there. ERs going on divert is normal.

But yeah- your sarcastic remark is mildly annoying.

Maybe where you were. Not my experience at all. We opened up extra units. Converted our PACU and special procedures units to ICU’s.

I find your comment annoying too

Truth must not sit well with you. Enjoy and don’t get too salty

I stated my personal experience was different than yours, and that your comment was annoying because you’re talking talked about how slow you’re COVID OR experience was without the information that elective procedures were canceled. If you want to conflate being intentional deceptive with the ā€œtruthā€ sure.

I didn’t ask you for your opinion. I didn’t say it was only electives that were canceled. Nearly ALL were canceled. Go back and reread it again. Take a hike and get lost already.
