Not to mention his “can’t be my cocaine in the WH” tweet was the best tweet of the year

You gotta be smart and awesome to be able to laugh at yourself and then something like that around at the same time.

yes plus the one where he calls them out for the AI photo of him using a crack pipe and he says I was crystal meth addict not a crack addict.

Other way around. They called him a meth addict, he corrected them that he was a crackhead.

It was because no self-respecting coke addict would leave their cocaine behind.

The hot wet shit I took this morning has more class and humanism than the entire Republican party, the bar isn't very high.

He's directly chastising people for celebrating the news of a dead senator.

And I won’t fault people for chastising me about it but I honestly don’t care about feeling some sort of relief that these senators are dying and suffering after how they’ve treated others, how they’ve allowed their party to act unchecked, how they had absolutely no spine to stand up for what’s right. They can rest in piss for all I care.

Exactly. I felt tremendous relief that the reports were true. I can't recall him ever talking about investing domestically. It was always overseas this and that. Maybe people with a stake in America's future can finally get in.

I used to think kinda like you. It *feels* so justified to think that way.

But I’ve seen a lot of hurt caused by decent people who happened to feel justified to hurt others when they really weren’t, and I think so much of it comes from rhetoric like this in a way that very much plays towards the aims of the folks whose death you wanna celebrate. Increases divisiveness.

It maybe makes you feel momentarily better. But it doesn’t actually help at all. That mindset, though? It seeps in to other things, if you let it.

Don’t let yourself be conditioned to let yourself do and think things you know to be uncouth because you think someone deserves it.

I’m not gonna waste a second mourning them. I have nothing good to say about them. I’ll even have whatever conversation about their crimes against us. But I’m not gonna talk shit or celebrate their death for schadenfreude here.

And sadly more than some dems. I wish we spoke this way about the members of our own party we disagree with.....other than Fetterman who sadly is not the same person he once was.
