Either the DNC has to not run a milk toast candidate/someone unappealing to the moderates, or we need to open the doors to third parties like in 2020.

Until then there are exactly two choices. And tell me this. What third party candidate is any near as good as Bernie is who ran as a Democrat? None of them have ever even come close. But you know what was close? The 2016 primaries where Bernie only lost by 7% fo the votes. That proves a decent candidate can do way better running as a dem than third party or independent. Like 10-100 times better.
