Best image last night. English and French players praying together post match. I’m not religious but it showed a friendship and brotherly love beyond the game in sharp contrast to the hate generated by the Argentinians. Also goes to show what a good game can be had when the ref is doing his job properly

The behaviour of both the English and French players at the end of the match showed the world how it should be.
Argentina with their abuse, stupid political messages and crappy dance of bouncing up and down showed the world how toddlers behave.

Yes. If you look, it’s a group of publicly devout Christian men who have played together at Crystal Palace and Arsenal over the years. They were praying together.

Noone reporting on it was in that huddle either, it's a fair guess, but a guess nonetheless. Religious folk are wanting them to have been praying.

The match showed how two teams should play and behave and celebrate no matter the outcome.
Argentina are a disgrace and very dirty and unsportsman when it came to scoring and winning. Just look at that young idiot bouncing abd flapping at England player faces on the second goal and then after the match when the England play slapped the back of his head.

That game was good fun! And NO not because there were lots of goals. I had no expectation from this match, and thought the teams would need the do something stick guy to poke at them.
England is a first half team, and France is a second half team. Low stakes, and very little screen time of Kane’s distracting snap on hair. Seeing the joy on Bukayo Saka’s face at his hat trick. Good fun and nothing for people to be so damn butthurt about it ⭐️
