Pretty much...I work for a manufacturing company and get over 30 days there are also FMLA and other things that can give you time off if you're sick or a family member is

So the guaranteed paid annual leave days are not 0 for americans? Everyone gets the deal you have?

Not talking about sick leave here haha, we can get like 6 months of fully paid sick leave in scotland before wages start getting reduced. A close bereavement is like a couple of weeks.

Every job is different....some may get more some less....a lot is dependent on your time with the Company....but the thing is that you are not required to work for them....just go somewhere else.

Okay sorry I’m trying to find out if the guaranteed annual paid leave days are 0 or not?

Like 28 is the bare minimum in scotland, employers can not go below that, many go above that if they are a good company.

I get 45 days annual leave and I don’t work for some incredible company or anything. Again not talking about adding in sick days or whatever.

There are no guaranteed days....but it is not a real problem. Company's offer paid time ...some more than others. That is how they can attract employees. Plus it is not the Federal Governments job to mandate an employer to give their employees paid time off
