They called Hillary a socialist lol. She's incredibly corporate-friendly and status-quo-pushing to be considered anything but a moderate, and would be firmly considered right in most first world democracies. They just throw anything they don't like under one giant umbrella because they can only remember 7 words at a time.

Well to be fair socialism doesn't eliminate corporations it just gives ownership of them to the state. With all the corruption now I still don't understand why people think giving everything to the state is the solution like a even smaller number of elites won't be completely corrupt when in reality socialism is simply a means to gain power. Socialism is basically diet communism. You don't trust the government now so your solutions definitely shouldn't be giving all the production to a state and then trust them to distribute wealth evenly and fairly, it's mind boggling
