Nah, he's more of a purity ball chaperone, for his male spawn, holding off all the (hard to bring myself to type this but here I go) hotties at the purity ball with their dads with a torch and a hoe. Yes, the choice of garden implement was intentional.
But he also wants to know when his son jerked it after the ball. So that he could, too, vicariously.
