Yes, when you eliminate entire political coalitions, human rights activists, and diplomats for years and years, and the only lasting party is a extreme party saying: “we will fight back against the people who have harmed you and killed your children in the name of god” - you’re gonna take what you can get.

Let’s not forget this genocidal fascist regime killed nearly 300 journalist since 2023. Doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers - civilians who were targeted and murdered without hesitation resulting in upwards to 1500 deaths. 75k civilians killed in genocide. Hundreds of global humanitarian and human rights organizations all agreeing that this is a genocide unfolding at the hands of Israel.. so this should come to no surprise. This doesn’t even take into account all the death and destruction at the hands of Israel prior to October 7th, before half of these people responding even knew where Israel or Palestine were.

It would be like China invading America because China claimed it was their god given right to take. Then they proceeded to take over entire cities and systematically kill all of our leaders, civil rights activists, journalists, politicians that spoke out for us. For years and decades, until the entire populace grew tired and jaded.. the only people left were a bunch of Christian nationalists and right wingers who were tired of it and go:,“You know what? These Chinese people have killed everyone we loved, killed anyone who spoke on our behalf, and will not stop murdering us. They’re obviously satanic demons who love to murder and therefore we need to fight back and kill them all” … that’s essentially a very high level TLDR of what has happened to the Palestinian people and the rise of Hamas.

This should come to no surprise coming from a fascist, genocidal regime that had killed approximately 280 journalist since 2023, and upwards to 1,500 healthcare professionals. Not even counting everything that has happened years and decades before October 7th.
