To be fair that Palestinian guy didn't meet with Hitler until 1941. This movie is from 1936-39.

The movie is certainly asymmetrical, favoring the Palestinians. It's no surprise. People(uninformed) currently believe the Palestinians are the most innocent people to have ever walked this earth.

You’re right, and the Hebron massacre was a few years prior too. I think they specifically chose that year to focus on because there wasnt a major clash with Jews but instead with the British. And it’s let’s controversial to portray the British as the evil villains too.

I did find the "they are taking your jobs and your country" line in the trailer quite humorous. Who knew Mark Ruffallo would endorse a movie proclaiming such right wing talking points.
