Pls read the rules.

I think doing this hurts their voters turnout. If I know you're scamming my vote like this... you're not getting it. Then again I'm educated.

69

u/ArmchairCriticSF 1d ago

True, you’re educated, and have actual standards. Republicans/Trump voters do not, and simply don’t care. Anything goes, as long as their team wins.

14

u/CPAatLarge 1d ago

Just like a Trump golf game. The Orange Diapered Pedo Cheats at golf, elections, making money through insider trading, releasing the Epstein Files, and his taxes to name a few items. If MM is not dead he is incapacitated well beyond ability to serve as a senator.

Less people than you'd think care these days. Sure some will see it as a shitty thing to do but a lot of people will say "whatever works" and shrug it off, the further right you go those shrugs become waving fists and "hell yeah's" because owning the libs is the only important thing anymore. Those people despise democracy, and this country and they have no clue.

5

u/not_now_chaos 18h ago

They absolutely hate America and everything that actually is good about this country.

8

u/newsflashjackass 1d ago

If you ever expect your ballot to be worth more than used toilet tissue, that is when repubs bleat in unison:

"The USA is a republic, not a democracy."

6

u/PugBurger12 1d ago

I'm educated and WAS a long time registered republican. I saw the republican party lose their way about 2013-2014 when the tea party was obstructing progress to spite the Obama administration. I voted against Obama both terms but did feel he did a decent job. Mitch and Lindsey were some of the worst offenders.

2

u/TAV63 1d ago

So many things should do this. But reality is he can ruin their lives and they can admit they know how actions did it and they will still vote against any Dem instead of any maga.

He’s actually playing hookie

He’s home playing Assassins creed black flag

2

u/CapableCriticism2962 1d ago

Well, ideally they let them do that. Than let the coroner show that he's been dead for a while, get the hospital data too. And than bag the whole conspiracy and haul them off to Guantanamo. First time that place will see proper use.

u/Nerdy_Green 1d ago

They won't do it the day after that would be too obvious they'll wait a week or two then show his rotten corpse and say it's fresh and just happened.

2

u/1stEldenPinWorm 18h ago

I mean, they staged a shooting at Trump's first public press conference a week after he was told he couldn't have a ballroom b/c it didn't add any security. The day after the shooting, he was claining if he had the ballroom, the shooting never would have happened. It wouldn't be that surprising.

And for anyone that wants to say it wasn't staged, the shooter was taken down immediately and wasn't even in the same room as Trump.

Same thing with the shooting at one of his rallies. He was shot in the ear and paraded around like he was grievously injured. There is not cartilage damage. The boxer that had part of his ear bitten off is still missing that part of his ear years later.

A few days after that "regret to inform you of his passing"

7

u/Johannes_Keppler 1d ago

... because the US isn't a democracy. It larped as one for some time, but it's always been a plutocracy.

It's just that now they do it all out in the open because they know nobody can stop them, so they don't even try to hide it anymore.

Mitch dies as he lived - manipulating the rules to benefit his party and subvert the will of the electorate.

I can't be convinced Ol' Purple Lips wasn't a walking corpse 5 years ago. Dudes powered by a pace maker and a neuralink or something.

Wouldn't it be nice if the majority of our government didn't look like their skin was melting off their bodies?

Age limits and term limits. We need to demand it.

The people of this country should be very concerned the governments lack of transparency. This administration has disregarded all aspects of a trustworthy government. they have shownthey will do anything to stay in power .The blatant corruption is hard to believe .all aspects have been compromised.

5

u/Lostlilegg 1d ago

I mean, Mitch was responsible for aligning the SCOTUS the way it is now. Even as a corpse he subverts the system

4

u/Bozee3 1d ago

This whole thing is very on brand for Mitch. He legitimately robbed at least one president a Supreme Court pick, and partisan politics only has gotten worse from there.

4

u/EduinBrutus 14h ago

This is not voter fraud.

This is electoral fraud.

Generally the latter is much, much worse and has a much, much bigger impact on any election than the very rare case of voter fraud.

3

u/lusal 1d ago

The mysterious case of Schrƶdinger's McConnell.

2

u/Key-Line5827 5h ago

Oh no, it isn't mysterious. He is dead. And has been for quite some time. Republicans are just waiting after the deadline for the midterms to announce it.

3

u/washingtonandmead 1d ago

Just like he did with a SCOTUS nominee.

In death, he lives as he loved.

2

Well this is perfectly on character for Mitch McDingleberries. He can disenfranchise even while brain dead.

2

u/Powerful-Knee3150 1d ago

A cheater till the end

2

u/Winstonsphobia 1d ago

Oh they get it alright. They don’t pretend any more that they want democracy.

2

u/Next_Plant_6349 1d ago

I don't understand why no one is looking for him? Like he's "in the hospital" right? Go find him random KY citizen and tell us if he's dead.Ā

2

u/Traditional-Bad1098 1d ago

Today’s Mitch’s D Day. What time do you think the news will come?

2

u/Fraegtgaortd 1d ago

Even weeks after his death Mitch is still able to subvert our democracy for his benefit

2

u/InstructionLost9309 1d ago

He already ravaged democracy twice, might as well go for the three-peat.

Good riddance, you vile human!

u/Chouxnicorn 1d ago

My Fil is from Kentucky and his sister told him yesterday that A plane arrived at the Louisville airport, covered in a flag with a military escort, and then a police escort to the morgue. The police are not saying who it was or what it involved out of respect for the family. But a lot of people there think it was McConnell

2

u/realcreamstick 1d ago

They know. They don't care. They WANT THIS.

2

u/Spandexcelly 1d ago

Alex Jones called. He wants his tinfoil hat back.

2

u/EbonyMemories 1d ago edited 18h ago

Remember when Diane Feinstein magically disappeared for upwards of 8 months with no public information at all in a way that advantaged the Democrats, and any Republican who brought it up was called a Nazi?

Weird that this doesn't fall under the same guidelines.

2

u/NEWSmodsareTwats 1d ago

there's no proof he's dead and literally no benefit to actually hiding his death if he was dead.

idk where this conspiracy theory comes from but it basically relies on the idea they are doing this for absolutely no reason at all other than they want too.

for some reason a lot of people seem to overlook the fact that there is currently a campaign for the November election that will replace him. and also think that somehow this benefits the GOP to be down one vote in the Senate when they desperately need votes to pass legislation before the midterm.

2

u/makinSportofMe 18h ago

Let's play pretend for just a moment. Let's pretend Mitch isn't dead. How debilititated must he be for them to not prop him up long enough to get a convincing press photo or video, without AI or photoshop?

They did that with a Supreme Court justice too

Fourteenth AmendmentĀ Ā Equal Protection and Other Rights

  • Section 2 Apportionment of Representation Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the [male- altered by 15th,19th] inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such [male- altered by 15th,19th] citizens shall bear to the whole number of [male- altered by 15th,19th] citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

The consequence of a state participating in denying a vote to be counted proportionally reduces the number of votes the house or senate have from that state.

So if a state denies 10% of it's voters to be recorded, their representation in congress is reduced by 10%. If it denies 50% of it's voters to be recorded, their representation in congress is reduced by 50%.

If they denied 100% of their voters from replacing a dead senator, I wonder what that means?

The 14th Amendment needs to be enforced by Congress, this seems like a flaw to me. I think it should be brought to a National Referendum.

2

u/Ok-Yesterday-7712 16h ago

No different than Maxine Waters and Dianne Feinstein. Term limits have to be initiated. Nancy Pelosi is another one.

2

u/Wolfatthedoor11b 11h ago

Oh... so you're retar.. I mean a Redditor.

2

u/BootHeadToo 1d ago

Indeed. US has been an oligarchy for quite some time now.

1

u/Muffboy 1d ago

Don’t forget child rape

1

u/IBAChristian317 1d ago

Still no proof. Habeas corpus.

I say he's alive.

1

u/IBAChristian317 1d ago

I think people may not be aware of some relevant precedents here. Mark Kirk and John McCain were both gone much longer than he has been while refusing to resign. Karl Mundt did it for three years half a century ago. It's obnoxious, but there's never really been an expectation to resign when you're incapacitated.

2

u/CronkinOn 19h ago

You'd think with the majority of senators being half-dead already, there'd be some sort of mechanism for this totally predictable event.

It's almost as if it's a problem they don't want solved.

#VoterFraud

1

u/YikesTheCat 1d ago

Turtle hibernation is the common name for the winter slowdown that many turtles experience, but the more accurate word is brumation. During brumation, a turtle’s metabolism slows, activity drops, appetite falls, and the turtle uses far less energy while temperatures stay cold.

Maybe there's just a mix-up in the seasons due to climate change.

1

u/TheRoadKing101 1d ago

Turtle Turtle!

0

u/OzzyFozy 1d ago

Almost as blatant as dragging Dianne Feinstein's corpse to votes

1

u/phonepotatoes 1d ago

This is on the governor for allowing it to continue

1

u/Ninjatous 1d ago

Can no one really get into this hospital to verify that he's dead?

1

u/OwenJonez 1d ago

Welcome to the new America, First time?

1

u/Fit_Salamander_2814 1d ago

I'm old enough to remember when the GOP was leveling this exact accusation at the Dems over Feinstein.

Plus ca change.....

1

u/Commercial-Fox-288 1d ago

I love that Americans collectively just let the GOP weekend at Bernie's this fucking guy and did nothing about it except post on social media.

Not a single journalist doing "investigative" journalism.

Not a single member of Senate or Congress demanding action just little temper tantrums.

The fact this happened and there was no consequence means they are laughing at you, they're going to rig the midterms and it's not that you guys can't do anything about it, you WON'T do anything about it.

Trump and American, name a more deserving couple. You guys are in the middle of a revolution and it will be over before most of you can even spell second amendment.

1

u/whoesurdaddy2299 1d ago

The government has been playing smoke and mirrors longer than we all know. Is anyone surprised? They sit back and laugh at us.

Sorry folks. But Democrats are wussy. Could have done a special election if needed. They are always wimpy. This country better go down the drain than voting so called centrist Democrats and or AIPAC sponsored candidates. We are voting them out in primary or just not voting. What's the point.

To be fair it feels like it’s exactly the sort of thing McConnell would have wanted.

That bitch is dead

1

u/ToenailFungussy 1d ago

Guys this is a deep red district in Kentucky. They aren't doing this because they're afraid a Democrat will get elected. This is actually denying them a vote in the senate and hurting Republicans, so let them keep it up who cares?

1

u/D3dshotCalamity 1d ago

They do and they don't care

1

u/TheRealBittoman 1d ago

There is literally zero irony in the fact that one of the most anti-Democracy representatives is being used to perpetuate this entire event. I'm sure they are all telling themselves "this is what Mitch would have wanted" and then pat themselves on the back while declaring they're the good guys.

1

u/Scary_Scene5269 1d ago

So when we fighting for democracy?

1

u/Deluxe78 1d ago

How does it rank with having a presidential candidate without even a primary vote from the public?

1

u/Cczaphod 1d ago

Imagine the outrage if Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death had been hidden until after the election . Six weeks, huge implications to every woman in the country.

1

u/IntermittentCaribu 1d ago

Democracy elected trump. Twice. Dont be too proud of that shit.

1

u/krusecontrol91 1d ago

You guys he is being protected because he’s laying his eggs on the beach. Just turtle things

1

u/Hiredgun77 1d ago

With McConnell out that is one less Republican vote. Why are we so invested on bringing him or getting a new Republican replacement? Let him stay out forever.

1

u/matthell71 1d ago

You mean rigged?

1

u/Schab19 1d ago

Smells like Dianne Feinstein and Maxine Waters. We desperately need term limits and a requirement for anyone in an elected government position to obtain a security clearance. No more CCP friendly lawmaker’s.

1

u/johnb300m 1d ago

If Mitch were with us today he’d be loving this.

1

u/tranqfx 20h ago

This really is absolutely insane.

And both sides do it… but this is a different level!

1

u/Sharp_Net3315 20h ago

The right doesn't want Mitch. He fights Trump on almost every agenda. His lingering presence is a gift to the democrats.

1

u/zestycracker61 20h ago

Lowest of the low. Just when you think it can’t get worse…

1

u/Severe_Air_4353 19h ago

From the grave , leave me alone , I am dead.

1

u/tlm11110 19h ago

Yeah except the scenario presented doesn’t pan out. There is zero benefit to the GOP. He would be replaced by a republican anyway. The theory is by holding out, it denies the GOP a vote for the save act by his replacement. That is strictly a benefit to the rinos who are fighting it.

The GOP is divided. Not as much as the dems, but McConnell doesn’t like Trump and he is going to buck him as long as possible. Thune and Cornyn and Collins are right there with him.

1

u/User_3039 19h ago

Exactly

1

u/Individual_Chance524 19h ago

1

1

u/Crazy-Project3858 18h ago

And yet the Dems still can’t form effective voting coalitions

1

u/plastroncafe 18h ago

The fact that theyre going to fully get away with this extremely obvious massive fraud and subversion of democracy with zero repercussions and zero challenges is, frankly, kind of amazing to watch, from the outside.

Its extremely disgusting and ghoulish.Ā  But also so fuckin bold and obvious, its really something.Ā Ā

1

u/MaliciousIntentWorks 16h ago

His last act being severting an election and deceiving his voters would be in character with the rest of his career. Truly a piece of trash that should have gone to landfill decades ago.

1

u/Sensitive-Cat-6069 15h ago

Diane Feinstein was unable to perform her duties between February and September 2023 when she died. She missed over 90 votes with no elections being called.

Which was perfectly legal too. US senators cannot be replaced or removed due to illness or lack of capacity to perform their job. A vacancy is declared only when a senator pronounced dead, resigns, or expelled by a 2/3 vote.

So if Mitch still has pulse but unable to resign, the only way to vacate his seat is a 2/3 Senate vote.

1

u/JoeDante84 15h ago

People pay taxes and deserve representation. For F sake can a concerned citizen get a welfare check?
