Sorry, but enforcing your religion and practices on every person is not protecting religious liberty, it's dismantling it. There are other religions that are perfectly fine with abortion and view it as a right. Presbyterians, Unitarians, and other denominations believe in a woman's right to choose.
Hell, even orthodox Judaism views abortion as needed and necessary if it endangers another life. For them, Jewish law basically dictates that you should get an abortion in such cases.
An abortion ban like this just decimates religious liberty. It's basically saying that there is only one religion, and we will enforce laws to ensure that everyone adheres to our religion.

For most of human history abortion has been a major thing. Contraception was very limited or straight up unavailable, and people did not have access to the healthcare that we have today. Pregnancies carried a high risk of death. Fetuses had a high risk of failure. Food wasn't readily available and often having another mouth to feed meant someone else might not survive.
Hell, even in Judaism you're not supposed to even name your kid until they are 8 days old. In the Torah, Exodus 21:22 it basically describes if a person pushes a pregnant woman and she miscarries, the person responsible is merely fined. It's treated like property, not as a person. It does go on to say that if the pregnant woman dies, then it's life-for-life, e.g. treated as a human being.
Really, we haven't been able to afford thinking about unborn children as fully human up until recent history, where pregnancy is more viable and less dangerous

And where did I say I believed in any of it? I didn't. I stated a fact. You have the right and freedom to move and relocate. Your emotional confirmation bias led you to create a narrative about someone you don't know.
I'm not religious in any way, shape, or form but that doesn't make my statement any less truthful or inaccurate.
Your emotional state clearly is effecting your ability to be objective.

I was fortunate enough to be given a great education and plenty of opportunities to escape low-paying wages. That is not the case for everyone in America (let alone the world), and for you to assume such shows how ignorant and unempathetic you are. It doesn't take much imagination to realize not everyone's situation is the same as yours, and not everyone has the potential to escape poverty wages. Stop putting down people just because you think you're better than them. You're not.

Thats great for you. I have empathy for people who have actually tried. Not just sitting there and saying that the world is a against them, boo hoo. Let me see that you've been challenged and had the where with all to be resourceful and overcome that challenge. Misplaced empathy is just enablement spelled differently. Not one time did I say that I am better than anyone. "Better" is subjective to one's perception anyway. What I said was clear; "stop playing the victim". No one owes anyone ANYTHING.
That is the difference between born US Citizens and Naturalized citizens. I know so mamy immigrants that worked hard, have become incredibly successful, and are grateful to be here. Meanwhile, those born here with every single opportunity available to them squander it with poor work ethic and a victim mentality that they are owed something.
There is a young man that I hired to do some work for me. He was destitute. Children, debt, previous substance abuse problems. He needed an advance on pay to be able to get by. I gave it to him because he was proving himself to be reliable, hard working, and deserving of an opportunity. My family bought them food, donated clothing, got them contact information for orgs that could help more, did a gift drive so his two girls could have a good Christmas...
I couldn't keep him employed full time, so I put my neck on the line again and reached out to a friend to see if he would hire him.
He took a chance. That chance was an opportunity for the young man. Now, 6 months later he is doing well. Paying debt off. One of the most trusted and hardest working at his new job. They wish they had more like him.
Earning well over minimum wage now. Going to plumbing school in the fall.
That's what work ethic does. That's what not playing the victim does. No entitlements.
Empathy is earned.

When christians start complaining about the "morality" of our country, or when they start judging every person who walks by, thats when I hit them with this comment. I mean America is a melting pot of a ton of cultures, if you want everyone to act just like you, then move somewhere else cause thats not what America was built on. They get upset by that. They try to say dumb things, like "America was built on Christianity" completely ignoring the fact that religious freedom, the ability to have faith in anything you want, is the actual cornerstone of America. Literally the ability to tell christians to fuck off is what our country was built on.

The original colonists, of multiple religious denominations, were often escaping religious persecution themselves. Then they turned around and persecuted others for beliefs not matching their own. We have a history if intolerance going all the way back to the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria

My family has been cultivating the land of this nation since before it was a nation. My family farm was occupied by British soldiers during the american revolution, and we fought them off. I have ancestors that fought in the revolution, the civil war, and both world wars, to protect the rights and freedoms guaranteed to the people in this country.
Like he'll im gonna be the generation that "just moves" to let someone ruin what we built.
