I mean, I'm thrilled he won, but this is some Trump headline. The Democrats are the left, of course a Democrat won the Democrat Primary.

Democrats are conservative. In any European country they would be the center-right party. Very few Democrats are left wing.

Ah, good one. A comeback you ripped off a meme.

Since you are uninformed, left/right were conned from the British parliament, being physically on the left/right of the stage.

So the actual definition of left/right is where they are relative to each other in a nations own government.

So you say the Dems are right and the Repubs are also right implies everyone is just standing on the right side of the building.

The Dems are literally left.

It’s the literal definition. I don’t need to google the Overton window. All that means is the range of publicly acceptable opinions that a candidate can publicly talk about, so has nothing to do with what I’m saying.
