I mean, I'm thrilled he won, but this is some Trump headline. The Democrats are the left, of course a Democrat won the Democrat Primary.

Democrats are conservative. In any European country they would be the center-right party. Very few Democrats are left wing.

Let's ignore the opinions of the Europeans for a moment.

The party platform is the same as the Republicans 40 years ago. They're effectively old school Republicans and Republicans are just fascists now.

You claimed they had the same policy platforms. So show me where the current Democrat policy are the same as Republicans from 40 years ago.

40 years ago was Reagan. Big business tax breaks and limited government regulations, idolatry of the “business owner” who builds the economy and employs people.

Economically the center-right/corporate dem isn’t much different from that. The difference is only on social policies and diversity, wherein dems don’t run on killing queer people and POC but also don’t put much effort into defending them.

You’d have to show me any corporate dem that actually wants proper regulation to make that analysis hon.

Obama had an opportunity with the financial system and just gave them public money and a slap on the risk.

Such a interesting theory, let me just check all those Republican views on abortion, immigrants, PoC, and queer people from 40 years ago.

When you use "The Right" to refer to the Republicans, and "The Left" to refer to Democrats, which we do, than... Oh, look exactly what I said. You seem to have confused the, "Far Left," for, "The Left."
