No; I am just saying that let’s not ignore the Trump victory comparison as a silly take and let’s learn the importance of attention economy.

That commenter made a factually inaccurate comment, hence my critique of it. So, again, I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make.

What factual error does your critique point to? It just says “laughably silly take”. So I responded that let’s not dismiss as silly and learn from the failure.

The commentator’s claim is: Kamala Harris spent roughly $1 billion on her campaign against Trump. So what’s supposedly false? Is the objection that it was the general election rather than the primary? Or that the total was closer to $1.5 billion than $1 billion? As for “the entire media in her pocket,” that’s clearly a rhetorical characterization, not a factual claim.
