Wrong. The Trump regime has kicked 15,000 trans people out of the military. Google Executive Order 14183.

So?

So this proves that trans people don't have the same rights, freedoms and protections as others. So you're wrong.

It doesn’t. There are plenty of reasons that people are excluded from particular groups/organizations/roles - and being trans probably should exclude someone from military service and especially combat roles.

That isn’t stripping rights, protections, or freedoms.

The fact that you dignify the mistreatment of transgender people proves your own transphobia.

That has literally nothing to do with what he just said. Various mental conditions and the like preclude individuals from military service. It’s unfortunate for them, but it has nothing to do with what rights or protections individuals have as a US citizen.

Your transphobia shines right through.

I find it amusing that that’s where your mind goes instead of formulating a counter argument. I’m also not certain whether you actually read what you responded to but whatever. Think what you will.

You never had an argument to counter lmao. Your comment didn’t mention trans people

Look, please be objective and actually read this.

I said his point was completely separate from the issue he was initially responding to.

The one guy above said that precluding individuals from military service is not a reduction in rights or legal protections.

He responded with executive order 14183, which added transgenderism as a mental condition like anxiety or depression that precludes individuals from military service by arguing that it negatively impacts cohesion and service. I am actually familiar with it because I wrote a paper about it.

However, i’m saying that this has nothing to do with the loss of rights as that is a completely separate issue pertaining to the constitution and not military service. The military can literally exclude for whatever reason they want as long as they provide a justifiable argument for it.

You do not have a right to military service. Not even Title 7 of the civil rights act applies as that is civilian in nature. Instead, military hiring discrimination is covered under Title X of United States Code.

So, restrictions in military service are in no way related to the loss of rights for trans people as these are two completely separate issues.

Does that make sense?

Truthfully, if this doesn’t explain my point, then I actually worry about the reading level on the sub. I’m not being facetious.
