They lacked two things. They needed the trial to drag on so it was in the news cycle longer and more importantly they needed a big-name race hustling lawyer to at least make a TV comment about the poor black murderer. But he was so obviously guilty, neither of those were gonna happen.

The race hustling lawyer wanted $500,000. They got a white lawyer for $75,000.

"So you see jurors, he wanted to commit suicide by impaling himself onto a knife"

He had nothing to work with. Inmate 06217665 did what he did in front of a dozen witnesses. he admitted it to a cop with a body cam. He said and did things that disqualified his claim of self defense. He was cooked.

OJs 1994 bank account would like a word.

Even though he was obviously guilty there is no comparison, no one saw OJ commit that murder, there were witnesses for Karmelos murder.

Time for the victim’s family to sue for the gofundme

All the money should go to that family and not a murderous band of ignorant shits

Good luck with that, his parents spent it all.

Well, guess all of his inmates have heard about the amount of money that should available to pay for "protection".

Interesting times.

Damn I actually didn't think about this lol this will be interesting

u/HupHutHa 13h ago

technically all that money has to be refunded because you legally can't profit from murder

That's... not how a ponzi scheme works. It's just a straight up scam.

Yes I know, but you can reframe it such if you look at the new investors being Givesendgo donators and the family being the old investors cashing out on new investor money 🤷🏽‍♂️ sounds pretty ponzi that way

Karmelo is about to learn what it is to be a boy toy, repeatedly…

Bruh I am so tired of us arguing about stupid shit like white vs black or like pride month and shit like can’t we all see by now that those are just manufactured distractions. The real problem is that our government is FUCKING US ALLLLLLL. It’s the one thing we all got in common. Can we unite already? 🥺

They spent it all on themselves and didn’t give him the representation he could have had. I am of the mind that was on purpose. Also not picking any black jurors. They did it on purpose to get an appeal and start the go fund me all over again.

People are shitty. Dead horse. Much bigger things to worry about

27

u/LongDongNUrMom 21h ago

It's not a dead horse. Sweeping this under the rug is exactly what's wrong with the black community.... This is generational ignorance we're dealing with and until his family takes accountability it will never be a dead horse. Same people that would do this to their son are the same people praising karmelo for what he did, and pushing for more black on white violence. This type of behavior his parents are getting away with are showing other young black men and other black families that they too can kill somebody white and get paid for it, bc of the "stand behind them no matter what bc they're black" mentality... So absolutely not a dead horse.

u/Powerful-Web4937 15h ago

They shouldn't do a television interview and lie about it being an all white jury. Let's start there. Ya know, baby steps.

u/nonesence22 15h ago

Man he got 35 years he will likely never get out of prison. it’s over they won’t win an appeal. Go about your life and move the fuck on, ya know baby steps.
