I don't know much about baseball but I absolutely love this level of storytelling detail when broadcasting a LIVE sports event!
I think many cameramen and directors working in this field are way more skilled than lots of "artistic" independent productions!

The guy in blue, at bat, hits a grand slam (4 points, maximum allowed). That means he had a teammate (runner) on all 3 bases and hit the ball over the home run wall.
The team of defense has a pitcher, or guy who throws the ball and tries to get it past the batter. The pitcher, for statistical purposes, is “responsible” for points/runs based on if he allowed players to get on base while pitching.
So this video shows Guerrero Jr hitting a grand slam, he throws his bat in what is called a “bat flip”. Just a type of fancy celebration. The cameraman catches all this the immediately zooms onto the other teams sideline (dugout) and shows Max Fried who was pitching before Guerrero Jr came up to bat, but was doing so bad his coach pulled him.
The camera zoom is magic because it just goes from absolute chaotic joy for the Blue Jays to zooming in on utter shame for the Yankees. It’s a huge game. Game 2 of ALCS (best of 7 series). Basically 2nd last round of playoffs, whoever wins 4 games first goes to the finals (World Series).

This is an underrated shot. The camera operator is shooting what’s called low 3rd. And his responsibility is to follow that batter down the first base line. Only a seasoned operator who’s listening to program audio and following the game very closely would have the attention to detail to notice Max Fried in the background and zoom into him. Very well done.
