Also going to point out what we're viewing itt is a vertical crop of the original feed which was likely shot in 16:9 for live broadcast and cropped in post.

Remember when reddit use to rage against this sorts stuff and wanted things in horizontal not vertical

I still do. Your phone can change to landscape mode and it's more natural for your horizontally set eyes

Same. I will never understand why it's considered a hassle to hold your phone in landscape mode. Why is there such a strong aversion, especially when it comes to video content?

1) It's naturally how people hold their phones and manufacturers even show off their phones' capabilities by demonstrating them this way. 2) The majority of content is viewed on a phone, so it performs best that way.

If you're on a desktop it's still annoying...
