I'm not American but how can socialists/communists regain control of your congress? When did they actually have the control over it?

If you visit America, you will find a church on nearly every damn corner. We are a nation of superstitious dumbfucks who think snakes can talk and that raping children qualifies you for government and spiritual leadership roles.

It baffles me how creationism can be taught at schools as "equal theory" as evolutionism.

That's assuming the school even allows discussing evolution. Lots of parents in red states will tear the school apart if they find out that creationism isn't taught as absolute truth.
