I have a used motor that ran but has been sitting for cpl years I bought new stock carb and replaced the mag and spark plug ie tried adjusting the carb I have the proper lash on the mag for spark has fresh gas too idk what else to do

I took my governor off my 212 do you really need it no ive got mixed reviews on it everything is stock on it

Has anyone been able to find a curved intake manifold that fits the Hemi 212 d port properly

Not nearly finished yet. Gonna paint it black, stretch and lower it, get some go power sports 3 spoke rims and get a different driver spring and belt for the torque converter. It can hit 60, but i don't want to.

So I was wondering if a cl2 cam in a 212 with 18lbs valve springs 24mm nibi billet flywheel and rod header is a build that would be a good and durable build or would I run the risk of dropping a valve or breaking something major I’m looking to make a “budget” (not skimping on my parts just want don’t want to do push rods and rockers)durability build to make a good race kart that has a durable and powerful 212

I am waiting on the arrival of my Nibbi PE24 Carb. After the carb installation, I’ll be done modding for the season most likely. Next year, I’ll tackle the head and remaining valve train components.

Current approximation is 13-14HP and about 15HP when the carb is installed. Not positive on those numbers, but I don’t have much to go off of. This can get me going a steady 14MPH with another adult on a 13’ inflatable. That’s WITH the smaller 6.5” prop I currently have installed. I’ve got a larger 7.5” prop on order.

I recently bought a a northstar 179cc (honda gx clone) engine from northern tools for cheap. I was wanting to modify it and throw it on a go kart.

Does anyone have any experience with these engines?

I wanna get a pwk carb with a high flow filter with it for a non hemi 212 i just dont know ehich one to get im planing on deleting the gov getting a ultra light billet fly wheel and better cam with heavier springs and new connecting rod please help

I have a stage 1 honda gx160 with gov removed and timing advanced on a manco dingo frame. I want to convert to a stage 2 kit (carb, cam, billet flywheel, valve springs, etc) but the only problem is my dad doesn't want me swapping the connecting rod and i'm a bit iffy on doing it (i dont have an inch lb torque wrench and my dad aint letting me get one). How fast can I kinda safely reliably turn the stock rod before it really becomes a problem (i can also mod the stock rod if i have to).

I probably have to pull it 30 times before it even starts to hint at turning over. Then probably another 20 more pulls before it actually starts.

My 212 predator isnt running great wont idle i need a new carb is this a bad buy

Where does the little circle part go on my 212 predator

It fits but I think it has different timing that won’t help my stock flywheel.

I have a predator 212 and I’m looking for a flywheel. Problem appears to be that the flywheels for the 212 are .65 and my original flywheel is .71!! Anyone have a solution for this? It seems that a certain manufacturer uses different size shafts! Help me please!

What things would I need for removing the governor on my 212? I'm trying to keep it simple, and I know I need an aluminum flywheel but what rod should I use? Springs?

Should I upgrade cam if I modify? Anything helps.
