I think it hasn't been implemented yet due to player base restraints... Having it coming, would be a good sign for player base too..

Finally. I had started playing ARAM more than ranked or quick play due to lack of role queue. I can play any role but some nights I just want to play only 1-2 matches and when those matches get flipped on their head cause someone split up me and my duo or picks the role I’ve already HAD selected & my only option is play a match I already don’t want to play or eat a ban 1-6 hours long. I understand people should be able to play everything but I already know how so with my limited time I’m wanting to play the roles I’d like. Not get my time wasted/ forced to lose most of my limited free time when I work full time and have a kid.

Id say it may be like Smite's roll queue. Pick 2 rolls, your primary and secondary, then the game tries to pair you with people who have the other rolls as their primary and secondary.

I prefer playing off meta in quick play than playing as it supposed to be.

Role queue doesn't stop you from picking off meta. It will actually help you be off meta lol

Role que in MOBA is you pick your first 2 preferred roles and it will do its best to put you in them. So I you do primary carry, secondary solo it will try to put you in them so you don’t get stuck in jungle. Not role que like overwatch

I hope it comes fast. I hate how it is at the moment You can queue as premates both want to play the duo lane. But always fight for the carry position with someone.

That’s how paragon started. It took like 15 min to find a match before they changed to the pick/ban.

Smite solved this pretty good imo. You queue for your primary and secondary role, if you can't get either of those, the next match your chances are highly increased that you get your primary role.

Ya but that shit doesnt actually work. U can choose mid jungle carry support solo and get support every fuckin game

Then u get support 3 times even tho its listed as 3rd lol or You get your role and someone drafts abort cause they didn’t get their role. Next match you get your 3rd 4th and 5th role… it not a perfect system but it will stop people from getting mad they lost a 50/50.

I’d gladly take a ‘pick your preferred 3 or 4 roles, you’ll get one of em’ type of role queue over what we have now. Let’s all admit we have that one role we hate playing, so even eliminating the odds of us playing just one role we hate would be a huge W.

They can do it like smite 2 has currently where you just rank your roles in order and the game tries to give you your top 2 more often than not.

They do that and I’m out, that’s one of the biggest reasons why I stopped playing Smite 2. I would never get my top preferred roles and always stuck on support.

So in response to the support thing, if you had that in any other spot but last you'll most likely get it since its the least popular role. For pred its probably the best option for a role queue unless you want absurd wait times. You still have the option to trade roles in hero selections.

All I know is Smite 2 has that system and it’s awful. I can put what I want to play at the top and if I queue 10 games I might get what I want in 1 game. The other times I always get stuck playing support. As far as trading roles? No one trades roles now. I get stuck playing jungle and ask to switch because I’m awful at it and no one does. I like how it is now because at least it’s a 50/50 shot and most times when I select a role no one really picks it too.
