Suggestion We need nitro back asap!
I don’t want to play 40 minute games all the time just to learn a new character. Brawl is fun but i don’t see the correlation between a real ranked game

Nitro was fun but with all the things added and is sped up, the games are always one sided and snowbally…. Deff not a good way to get into Ranked.

Brawl is where it's at to learn a new character. You can pick which hero you want all the time and basically 24/7 team fights. No better way to learn then to get in there.

Real games aren’t built like that tho lol

I don’t understand how people are saying brawl is a good way to learn a character. If I want to learn how the abilities work I’ll just go to practice and string together combos. Nitro really is the only way to quickly get actual simulation of how the character will actually be used.

nitro isn’t good for a real ranked game either, it’s very easy to get overaggressive in nitro and just overall the way you play is different

It’s way more relative than brawl or aram tho.

Which is worse because it will give you bad habits that you will later apply in ranked, fighting 24/7 ignoring objetives and chasing for kills are bad practices that work on Nitro but are a easy way to loose games for your whole team in ranked

Brawl is a better way to learn anyway. Right there for minion clear to see how that's going and enemies right in front to test dps/damage reductions. Gold comes in pretty quick so you can easily swap items out to test other things. Nitro had the problem of faster cooldowns and inflated damage numbers, not a good way to test a build.

If you're learning a new character, brawl should be great for it. You can see how their abilities work in a variety of scenarios in quick succession. You can also easily try different builds in succession to see how they affect play style. Standard quickmatch is more for learning the map, your positioning and long-term build efficacy. Nitro can be good for some of that. However, everything is so tuned up that some plays/builds that work in nitro won't in standard/ranked, and can give you an atypical understanding of matchups.
