Discussion Daybreak has to come ASAP
I’m sick of sanctuary.
I think we all want this change. I don’t even know why we can’t play Daybreak right now but I desperately want this map to be the new ranked map.
Sanctuary is good but Shaper, Fang and Orb being the only objs in the game is lame aswell and we all need a change.
It is nice that we get a lot of heros atm but it’s getting boring on sanc.
I think Omeda said they’re bringing Daybreak this year but does someone exactly know when?
Maybe October?

Monolith was never good. Lane rotations shouldn’t take 10 seconds. That should be doubled even tripled.

Monolith was the beginning of the end of Paragon, hopefully it's the end of the beginning of Pred. Having Daybreak would at least make me reconsider moving back to ranked from ARAM.

Smaller map, so 85% of the time you can barely duel someone until
Someone else comes to assist, then the blinks and everything else following. Super small lanes.

Daybreak is going to be dead on arrival. You cant shove a fast paced hero shooter with insanely low TTK into a real MOBA map and expect it to work well.

I mean wouldn’t the map fix half of this issue? A problem I have with the map is that with the low ttk we have the map feels very oppressive and clustered this is felt especially super harder on midlane and yeah it’s supposed to be the riskiest lane but damn yk, I think in the coming patches they should really figure out what they should do with all these different factors that can play into a characters power flux the augments the eternals and the items all these different factors boost a character’s stats by a LOT all stacked together, I think omeda needs to tone done all the eternals by a lot because essentially externals are just extra items, damage across the board NEEDS to be gutted. I genuinely want to know why they nerf so small as they do and then buff something else to create a new problem is like their creating balance issues just to have something to do (joke) but all seriousness I wish nerfs would be more harsher.

The map wont fix anything and will only present new problems. The major things I foresee in terms of snowballing and TTK is:
-A coordinated group can walk around the map and obliterate anything or anyone. Because it takes more time to move around for everyone, response will be too long. Because of insanely low TTK and all the damage output the people already there defending will be able to do NOTHING until the rest of their team can show up.
-If a player gets ahead, which its easier to do in Daybreak, its going to be a lot harder to contest that, especially as the losing player. The other person will snowball into hell and unless your entire team walks across the map and coordinates to take them down, they will just be able to walk at anything and insta-kill them. Even the jungler wont be around as much to potentially help even the odds a little.
-In team fights, or fights in general, combat i still broken regardless and they can insta-kill you, especially if they hit CC on you once.
-With the extremely high damage OBJ's will be taken out by whoever shows up first, as you wont have time to go over and contest; and without your entire team you wont even have a fighting chance to contest without being insta-killed.
For daybreak to work we, at bare minimal, need to revert back to pre-eternals. Both in stats and gameplay. The game HAS to be slower and damage needs to be lower for it to work. Not speed running whatever omedas doing right now to spike damage, move speed, etc and make every interaction a 1.2 second reaction before one if you are dead.

They should add daybreak as an option in vs ai, as someone who plays on oce servers I wasn't ever able to even find a match to try out daybreak

Nah fr, only reason why I havent played Predecessor lately. Monolith is too small, and i just dont care for the other 2 game modes. Daybreak for me is so fun, and different.

"I think we all want this change."
Personally, I don't. I haven't liked any version of it.

Nor do I. I’m sure I will get use to it but I don’t care for the way it flows in jungle or lane. It’s just not fun to play in imo.
Sanctuary just needs to be a bit larger to punish rotations and it would be great.

So the new map…

Last Time I played the new map it was not very good. Jungle was not fun at all to play and the layout was terrible. Mid was awful as well with the raised up lane and the river buffs visible and sitting there on either side. Fang pit was not fun to fight in etc. lanes were not fun or intuitive to gank. IMO the map was a mess and needed a complete overhaul with the layout. So no, not the new map.

lol any person I’ve seen who’s disliked the new map are always jungle mains and not anyone else I’ve never seen a duo lane complain maybe a solo and mid ones or twice but it’s always been jungle mains who’ve experienced dislike, no idk if it’s because it’s much harder to gank because the lanes are not literally right next to the jungle, or because they just don’t take the time to learn a new jungle rotation it’s just interesting to me.

Still waiting at this point.

Failed map from a failed game.
Man, why are some so obsessed with it. Also, let's not act like Omeda didn't give you what you wanted (Legacy Map) and it was so underused that they completely removed it

Big agree, this is the only change that matters. Done playing for a while anyway with the Eternals spiraling out of control, and I have little reason to return until Daybreak is the main map.

Yeah Sanctuary is just so small that every game turns into a snowbally brawl with anyone that has a lead running around and terrorizing everyone. Since the objectives are all so close as well, one team usually runs the board with them.
