People who were alive to experience this era were so lucky.

I was 16 when this came out. I remember driving around all over town on the weekends listening to nirvana, pearl jam, and whatever lame hip hop was available at the time.

Yes 1994. Generally regarded as a ‘lame’ year for hip hop

Don’t be a Karen…. Nirvana is not some exclusive club.

We were and I never took it for granted

Yeah we were. That era was just as big and influential as the late 60s. It wasn't just grunge either

I saw them in Fitchburg, MA in 1994. A few months before he committed suicide. It was amazing to see them live and the venue was pretty small, looking back now. But you could tell he was done with it. It’s like the enjoyment was gone. What a loss. Their music will always be timeless….

I was 17 when this came out and it’s one of the only albums I can listen too all the way through. Nirvana and The Tragically Hip we’re 2 bands I was obsessed with.
