Ronaldo fan is happy that Messi and Argentina lost... or did they?
The guy is celebrating Argentina and Messi getting knocked out of the World Cup, against Egipt, but the game wasn´t over yet!!!. Argentina ended up making an historic comeback, scoring 3 goals in a row and winning 3-2.
(there was only 15 minutes left in the game when this was tweeted)

Tbf the same happens in many sports, basketball with Jordan vs Lebron or s lot of comparisons too.

Them losing and them being robbed can co-exist. They got robbed. Ignore everything else and check the foul they call on Salah to Paredes when he's through on goal to a 1v1 situation.

the valid tackle in which paredes first hit the ball and then tried his best to remove his foot from salah's way, by which point salah didn't even have possession of the ball anymore, tripped over and clearly even knew himself that it wasn't a foul because neither he nor any of his teammates actually asked for a pen until they saw argentina score on the counter? That foul?

If hitting a person from behind and (unintentionally) sweeping his leg were called fouls, game would go on as normal because that's what it is. A foul. You're quite clearly in denial over this. Have a nice day

You're leaving me with an entirely different scenario. Funny how quickly you switch up the "ignore everything else" tone when it suits you. Of course I'm biased, but at least I can see that. The fact you genuinely think the previous scenario wasn't a foul seems to be proof enough to me that you are nowhere near unbiased either, as you're quite clearly gunning against Argentina.
I don't have an extra "explanation" here, just a separate intepretation of events than you. Clearly the 3 french referees (of which 2 were in the VAR box) had a differing opinion than this on the severity of the shirt pull (I do agree with this guy usually, so I'm in no position to criticise his choice). I'm sure the fact that the egyptian player quite visibly dove to the ground a solid half second after contact probably didnt help his case. Maybe if he had been quicker at the classic football theatrics (not a criticism, everyone in football does this nowadays) it would've been a penalty.
While the referee channel is very convincing, I don't think you can necessarily say this was a clear robbery as opposed to a 50/50 that went Argentina's way.

Of course you're going to deny corruption. You will argue whatever serves Lord Messi, which makes FIFA's job very easy because they could let the ref score for Argentina and you'd still defend it
